A remedy please
 

I’m currently playing Abes Exoddus on my PC but I unfortunately have reached a deadline. I chant to possess Aslik but he freezes and has no movement. Any ideas?

I have the same problem. Are you using NT fix downloaded from some fan site? Cuz I use that and have the exact same thing. A cure would be nice, but I don't think there is one :(.

Yes I have downloaded the same fix. Funny that is sticks when chanting Aslik. With Dripik and Phleg I had no problem

Yea same here. Aslik get stuck as soon as I enter the screen though.

Man how come I never get this problem. Wait did you say you downloaded the game from a site? If so that is possibly the problem....

No, it's a fix. The PAL version of AE will not work with Windows XP anymore and there is a fix out for that problem. That is an .EXE file you need to replace the original with. The game runs fine, but when you get to Aslik he freezes -_-.

Well if you're really desperate you can use the skip level cheat. I don't recommend it though.

Yea I know that, but if you want to save all 300 muds, that won't do you much good you know...

Yea, I completed AE waaaaay back in 1999 :P, back when I was still on Windows 98 :P.

WOW! Im sorry this happened to you guys. All I can say is: Buy it on PS.

Found a fix that works. Unfortunatly it's missing some sounds and most of the music and maybe even some of the movies. Untill there someday comes out a better fix, I guess we'll have to settle with this.

ooh that is strange. Have you tried renaming the files into .mp3 and seeing if they then run?

I'm no coding wonder. These .exe files are codes and modified and whatnot, I wouldn't know why the music doesn't play. You'll have to ask the person who made the .exe file ;).

i had the same problem but back when i had a dual boot computer,i would just play that level on win 98.however at the end of Feeco Depot levels,one of the lasers on the bottom screens wont open.the problem is that you cannot correct that problem on win 98 using a saved file from the Feeco Depot levels.you have to replay them completelly on windows 98

Havoc do you have to download all of these files? the same problem works with me but when i downloaded one of those files they didnt work
P.S When Aslik freezes press the jump button, he jumped up, hit the wall and became a spludge when i did it :D

i'm not sure if i can ask this but when you downloaded those games did you get any viruses from them. could you telll me were and how you download AO and AE.

They downloaded a FIX, not a game.

It's a fix we downloaded, not the entire game. We don't support downloading games and pirating software here.

I used skip scene cheat when I got this problem, but that was my 300 mud thing down the drain :( - I did it later on PS though, 300 mudokons, woo!
