AO secret area help
 

I've found all the secret areas in AO except one. I've heared that there's one in the first screen, but I don't know how to get there. How do I get there?

I can't picture it exactly in my mind right now but there's a barrel or some metal thing sticking up in front of the platform Abe's standing on. You stand behind it, push down and Abe will climb down.

When you get down there you want to take 1 step to the left and go down the ledges. Then a Slig will appear and you have to quickly roll under the saftey zone and posses it. Fly it up and kil and the other Sligs. Deposses. As Abe say hi to the Muds below you and lead them to the right. Take ach one and lead them to the trap door, pull the lever then hop in the well and free them.

Im not sure if that exactly right but I remember it goes something like that.

i never posses that slig,everytime i try,it throws grenades at me before i get to posses it or it leaves the screen.you can do it without possesing the slig,although it is a bit harder

Well as soon as you come down form the ledges, you have to roll under the saftey zone to the right. Then possess.

oh oh i know where it is!!!!!!!!!!! it's in the first screen , all you have to do is crouch behind the barrel. it's pretty easy actually, i mean the actual rescuing.

WELL WHAT ELSE AM I SUPPOSED TO SAY?

He said AO, and, though you do crouch behind a thing on the first screen of both games, the description of the area Cullen supplied described the secret area at the beginning of AE.
And besides, I don't think that, even when hidden in that little saftey space, it is possible to possess the flying slig in AE. He moves offscreen before the chant is complete.

The secret area in AO:
Take one step left and press triangle to jump safely to the lower ledge. Lower yourself down to the next screen. Sneak two steps right and traingle jump to hang from the ledge with the sleeping slig and lever. Wait for the slig to walk off the ledge, then climb up. Either possess/destroy him or pull the lever to drop the slig into the pit.
Once clear, climb back up to the top screen and time your walk under the meat grinder to the left lever. Pull it to deactivate the first electric field. Stand on the left ledge again and greet the first mudokon. DON'T SAY FOLLOW ME right away. To make sure he safely walks under the meat grinder, say it right when the meat grinder touches the bottom. Say Follow Me again when the mudokon reaches the edge to talk him off it. Follow him down and walk him to the bottom level. Say Wait and return up a screen.
Go right to the right lever and pull it to deactivate the second barrier. Go under the grinder and stand next to the mudokon. Greet him and walk back left. Make Abe stand where the lever is so that the mudokon doesn't get killed by the grinder.
From here, walk the mudokon down to the bottom most level on the screen below and chant to rescue all three. Ta daa!
