Favourite comdians
Hi if you're like me you must lvoe comedy, ah brightens up any day (this may be sounding like an advert for ariel or something but bear with me)........I don't know how to make a poll so we'll play by us just talking about our favourite comedians (yes that plan worked excellently).........O.K I'll start us off........ATM my favourite comedian has to be Dylan Moran, ah his drunken rants have made me like him better than when he was in Black Books (in fact I personnally find him the same in real life as on T.V, and yes he does write his own stuff, but i still think he's more like Bernard than I thought)

Louis Black is hilarious. I like his "angry comic" style, because it's like the kind of comedy routine I'd do.
You know, if I were actually funny in real life. |
Black is very funny. If you like his stand up then you should check Bill Hicks. Black is almost Hicks lite. He died in 97 from cancer but you can find some of cd's pretty easily. Rant in E Minor is probably the best. It contains his famous rant about Easter. "Mummy. A goldfish left lincoln logs in me sock drawer." "That's the story of Jesus."

Wanda Sykes Kathy Griffin |
Looking good so far......*thinks* oh I got another one......Eddie Izzard, the travestite (I thought I should point that out because most of the people I ask say 'who's Eddie Izzard' saying the 'tranvestite comedian' is so much easier........Oh and not forgetting Jimmy Carr, i don't know why I like him, maybe its because his jokes are so 'he can't say that stuff' that they are hilarious for no reason.
E.G:- This bit is about if the partner meets up with a celebrity that person is allowed to sleep with them Jimmy:-"and what has your boyfriend got?" Boyfriend:-"Anything I'm not bothered" Jimmy:-"What is that it" Boyfriend:-"Anything goolooking" Jimmy:-"What, bit of a change, lovely" Its schoked me for a while I can tell you |
Louis Black
Eddie Izzard George Carlin Dane Cook Frank Caliendo All very funny people. There are others, but their names are in the recesses of my mind. |
I have many, but my all time favorite has to be Jeremy Hotz; he is so funny.
|
I only know of Dutch comedians, but they're all very active on stage, so I like that.
Also, the dude from Police Academy (Michael Winslow?) is tres cool! |
George Carlin and Kevin Wilson :D. Two of the best comedians I know!
"Get on the plane, get on the plane... I say **** you! I'm getting IN the plane!" Priceless :P. |

Used, not only does your sig break the size limit. It breaks other rules about singling out and being abusive to other members. I suggest you change it along your current bitchy attitude.
EDIT: Havoc and Sander too, for sigs. Sigs too big, attitudes ok. |
Consider it changed.
|
My favorite comedians are George Carlin, David Sedaris, and Adam Carolla.
|
Oh yeah, and David Cross.

Anyway, I already said my favorite comedians. But my friend Josh makes me laugh, so I think he counts. Add him to the list. |
Hypocrite yes. But it's not to the extent of used's. Consider mine changed.
And I request for AFOS's to change too. |
Hasn't anyone here heard of Bill Hick's? He is one of the greatest ever and has a pretty large underground following. Chances are that you have actually heard him without knowing it. At the end of Tool's album AENIMA they play a segment of his where he talks about drugs. "If you think that drugs haven't done anything for this country then I want you to go home, take all of those albums that you own and love, and BURN them. All those artists who made all those great songs= rrrrrrrrrrrrrreal fuuckin' high on drugs."

Adam Sandler
Ant & Dec (Not really comedians, just funny presenters) Peter Kay |
Well, since yer brought it up...The blue collar comedy team. (In favorite order) Bill Engval, Ron White, Larry the Cable guy, and Jeff Foxworthy. They all rock, and they're #&$&@in' hilarious. OH! And Steven Lynch! He sings in the name of comedy, and I loved his CD
|
I have never hated life so much as since people started saying GIT'R DONE! You should all be glad that I don't have access to nuclear weapons.
|
 I don't like sayin' that. I just like 'im 'cause he's funny as well...in a retarded way. I don't go 'round school, sayin' GIT 'R DONE up to the boys. (Plus, it would make me sound right
|
The guy who drinks all the time is funny but the other three........ Well, let's just say if they were mutilated and deficated upon it would be less than they deserve.
|
 True! I've had some friends in the past that kept on sayin' that, and I, whom never knew who or what Larry the Cable guy was, was wondering WHAT IN THE HELL they were speaking of! They said it so fast, I thought they spoke another language.
