Did the Jedi Have it Coming?
 

I read this via Ron Gilbert's site and it's the most interesting, logical and meaningful explanation of the plot of Star Wars.

I just wonder whether Lucas actually had any of this in mind when he wrote it. Somehow I doubt it.

Basically is better the devil you know isn't it. If the Jedi were so much for completely shunning everything they see as from the 'Dark Side', they'd have been able to identify that the Sith were up and about again.
