Abes odysee

Does anybody know if i can still buy Abes Odysee or Abes Exdousses for my PC?

metroixer 10-15-2005 08:24 AM

I always see some copies at my local gamestop. Try Ebay if you can't find them at a store...

MiyukiMiyazaki 10-16-2005 11:41 AM

I'd say your best bet is going to be a local gaming store in your area that takes used PC games. Ebay is a good place to look, also you might even try Amazon.com.

Mercurial Jones 10-16-2005 03:50 PM

I got my copy of Abe's Odysee at Walmart a few years ago for one canadian dollar. I've had a lot of luck finding older games in places like Walmart and Zellers, so if your local gamer shop doesn't have any copies
. . . hope lurks in the dark shadows of the much-suffered department store.

The Marching Mudokon 10-19-2005 01:35 AM

Ebay is probably your best bet but maybe in Electronics Boutique, if you have an EB store near you.

nessuss 10-19-2005 03:53 AM

i want the game
cant someone ?

Nate 10-19-2005 01:23 PM

cant someone what?

Sell you their copy? I doubt it. You're on a forum for OWLovers, we're not going to give up out prized possessions so easily.

Or perhaps you're hoping we'll send you a pirate copy. No way mate, we're all about protecting the interests of OWI. And that would be illegal.

Godlesswanderer 10-19-2005 03:12 PM

I could hook you up with a copy... On the cheap, you know? *wink wink*

Nah, I'm kidding. If you want the game go buy it. With the age of it you could probably get it for a few dollars/pounds/euros/whatever. That's if you can find a copy. As people have said, try your local games shop or Ebay.

Cullen Heath 10-29-2005 05:26 AM

my local game stores never have oddysee or exoddus but then again that may be different from you guys cause I just happen to live in a HORRIBLE, SMALL town where if you drive past itvand you blink then you'll miss it.

(no just kidding, sedonas not that small. plus I can go to flaggstaff)

I dont know why I told all of you that, you probabley dont care cause none of you live even close to near me.

Nate 10-29-2005 02:11 PM

I doubt that any store anywhere has new copies of the Abe games. Seriously dude, they came out almost a decade ago. You'd be hard-pressed to find a game from last year in my EB.

Cullen Heath 10-29-2005 07:43 PM

I didnt say new and sealed, just the game in general.

Nate 10-29-2005 08:54 PM

They don't stock used games that old either.

Cullen Heath 10-29-2005 10:02 PM

at bookmans they do(at least where i am)I actually went up there about two weeks ago and bought an extra oddworld adventures 2(which i think are even older.)

Wil 10-30-2005 10:31 AM

Oddworld Adventures 2 is a remake of the sequel. It doesn't predate the original.

Cullen Heath 10-30-2005 10:36 AM

i know but it is still a very old game and is rare to find.

Munch's Master 10-30-2005 11:07 AM

I got Abe's Oddysee for PS1 from my local GAME shop a couple of months ago, having never actually owned the original. Abe' Exoddus I am still looknig for, I had it but sold it to a friend after I lost interest in OW a few years back. So, I'd imagine you can still find AO somewhere if you look around a bit, and AE if you look harder. Or you can always try amazon or eBay.

Cullen Heath 10-30-2005 04:27 PM

yeah bookmans practicly always have some oddworld game and its mostly the first 3(hardly ever stranger's wrath)

and munch's master, you lost intrest in oddworld?!?!?!?!
psh,shame on you.(im just kiddin)

Kamille 10-30-2005 06:13 PM

I got AO and AE for ps1 from gamestop's website but AO is broken I can only get as far as paramonia

Cullen Heath 10-30-2005 06:55 PM

i dont really like game stop they are such a rip off and hardley ever have oddworld games

Kamille 11-05-2005 07:01 PM

they could be especially if you sell games to them

Cullen Heath 11-05-2005 07:47 PM

they could be what?

used:) 11-05-2005 09:59 PM

A rip off. Try and answer your own questions before posting.

Cullen Heath 11-05-2005 11:07 PM

yeah, I traded a nintendo 64 with like...oh maybe 7 games and what did I get? try about 15 dollars worth of store credit.

Kamille 02-06-2006 07:45 PM

oh by the way a while ago I replaced AO and beat I got it from EB this time

outlaw king 02-06-2006 07:53 PM

I once traded in 7 ps2 games and only got 37 credit!

Kamille 02-07-2006 03:44 AM

you should have sold them on ebay

Fuzzleman54321 02-16-2006 12:32 PM

:

I once traded in 7 ps2 games and only got 37 credit!

This is worse. I traded 9 Gamecube games, and 10 PS2 games, the guy gave me £30. I said, i would like my games back then please. He said NO! You.. traded it now you cant have the back.

WHAT A RIP OFF.

Slaveless 02-16-2006 02:00 PM

Heh. This is all terrible. Anyway, to answer the orginal question, my best bet is on Amazon. I bought my copy of AE only a month or so ago there.;)

Paramite Mask 02-16-2006 03:46 PM

It's actually pretty easy to find AO and Ae where I live. Maybe because the game store I shopped at is about 15 minutes near San Luis Obisbo (the place where Oddoworld Inhabitants was located) so it's pretty easy to find a used copy down here. You could probably find it on Amazon for a pretty good price.

Slaveless 02-16-2006 04:52 PM

Yeah, tell me about it. I got my for 35 dollars and that was the cheapest price.
