Have a good time in Belgium, Rexy. I saw the country once. We were travelling to England by bus, 25 hours from Hungary. I didn't see much of Belgium, though: it was night, I couldn't sleep, so I looked out of the window at... darkness. But the cities were fine, they had lighting.

Yes. Gypsy Rexy, flowing in the wind! ^_^
Belgium was great, we went for a history trip about the first world war. It was so amazing. I loved New Found Land park so much, it was really amazing. I can't remember the name of another place we went, but it was so good as the owner had kept them as they were from WW1. We went in all these tiny tunnels, and it was so scary as I went down with a group of my friends, there was 8 of us, with 2 torches, in a tiny tunnel and as I was at the back you couldn't see anything. But it was also really sad, especially the German war graves. There were 25'000 soldiers in one mass grave, and the other graves could have up to 40 soldiers in 1 grave. I just burst into tears there because I thought it was so awful, it hit me so much harder than all the other graveyards we'd been at. I'm saving up to go again, so I can properly look around Ypre [Ieper]. I think it's such a beautiful place, and I'd especially love to visit Talbot House, as we had to miss it out this weekend. I opt we have a european OWF meeting in Ypres [Ieper]. I loved it, and I bought boxes and boxes and boxes of chocolate. As well as a huge tub of marshmellow, and a couple of Converse NoteBooks. - Rexy |
omgomgomgom.
Welcome back. *excessive love* :) |
Hay anyone remember me? Yah I was the jolly fat-headed dude who talked about history and talked of the most off-topic stuff even for off-topic discussions.
Any way RT are you going to be near Luxembourg/in Luxembourg during anytime during the visit, if so tell me how it was, and tell me if the people where arses or what, because my grandfather was from there but he made it seem like it was the land of kings. |
