Yes...Yes there is.

I saw a trailer for it at some link in these forums along time ago. It was just the words oddword: strangers wrath. It was basically the beginning of stranger's wrath, but it was a little more polished.

I don't think that's true. There was a bit of debate about that already and it seems that this was not a movie trailer. Plus, I doubt that they would lead off with a Stranger movie since the game did so poorly.

Thanks for telling me that. I thought it was real. Oh well.

I believe Lorne's working on it now. As to what game it'll be based on/continuing, we don't know.

I'm hoping for a cinimatic adaption of Abe's Oddysee, though.

My hope and guess is on Abe's Oddysee.

yea i no i hope they do abe's odysee. that wuld be awsome and lorne is gunan be on G4 in a couple of weeks on this history of vidoe game vioence so i here. ill get more news soon.

I myself hope it's on abe's exoddus. I need to see more cinematics from that game because I just loved them! I also wanna know more about dripik. (That gluk kicks ass!)

Alf didn't visit us for quite a long time I'm afraid.
But Alf's Assistant seems to grant us some visits quite often.

An Oddworld movie would be spiffy cool.

I trust it would be exciting and full of new stories and things that we haven't seen in any of the games but . . . I haven't read any articles pertaining to the movie as of yet. Who knows. It would be sweet if it was based off of any of the games, as well.

I don't think, lorne make a movie about Abe's Oddysee. i think he make a new story. basicly on the slaving of mudokons, or something.
But I very very hope it's about Mudokons, Sligs, Gluckons, Scrabs, paramites, etc. and not some other new races like the Steefs or Gabbits. -.-

If Lorne's making an Oddworld-movie then I hope it'll be 'bout the Steef race... a continuation on OSW wouldn't sound that bad, if ya ask me.

Stranger's wrath is a great game but it... tis not odd
same with Munch's oddysee

yes I am. I agree with ya when ya say that the new one is not like the old, but at least OSW was a good game, wasn't it? When I said that "a continuation of OSW wouldn't sound that bad" then I just put my thought in the mix of other members thoughts of a new OW-movie...

mhm... jes, stranger was a great game. And a great story.
But I'm a absolute fan of the old games.

But when lorne makes a film that can rwach the old games, I was more than contently.

*waves small flag* The oldies are the goodies! Not that there is anything wrong with them MO+ games, but they don't feel as, well...odd/unique.

I think that the Abe movie already has a screenplay written. If there was to be only one movie, Abe is who I'd like to see in the starring role. <-sounds optimistic, doesn't it?

Yeah, if I'm not mistaken, there already was an Abe screenplay that had been written. ;) I did enjoy MO and SW immencely, but AO and AE will always hold a special place in my heart because they were the most original ones out of the entire series, in my opinion. If there was to be a movie, I hope that it would be about Abe and the old cast of characters maybe with a few new ones as well. ;)

I heard that they would put AO and AE in one movie or was that just speculation? I hope not, because it would be good to see AO and AE together although it would take longer to make.

They're going to make one Abe movie but it will not necessarily be based on the plot of one game or the other. I assume it will include themes from both.

Remember that Lorne came up with the film plots first then adapted them to the games. So he would have had to leave stuff out of the games. So what we are going to see in the movies is the games + more.

Actually the movie will be showing some aspects we didn't see in the games, and won't show some boring stuff (it won't be intresting to see all the levels of Scrabania, Paramonia, SligBarraks,...)

It's in my heart too, Oddys. :) A good way to put it, really. The old games always will be, for me.

An Abe's Oddysee movie is what I've been hoping for for years. I'm curious if he'll make any mention of his progress on the G4 special, but somehow I don't think he will, since it's about game violence and not his own endeavors. Oh well.. one can always hope.

i really want a mixture of abe's exoddus and munch's oddysee, they both had great movies in them.i think it should start out as abe's exoddus and be that for about half an hour and the rest as munch's oddysee.

I don't realy think thats the best idea, it is unsual. Munch's Oddysee and Abe's packed in one single movie would cause a bit of confusion, they're both different stories with different themes.

If they still have a plan to make Munch's Oddysee into a movie, I'm pretty sure we will see all those things left out of the original MO, Sam for example, Roid mabey not becuase it was suppose to be something included as a game feature, but you never know.

yeah but the could blend the 2 games and change a little. like first it shows exoddus with a little more discription,then it blends a little to the pint where abe and munch meet, then they go on.
