MSN Working?
Is MSN working for all of you?

Sure is, restart your comp or something. :p
I have. I'm spent more than an hour troubleshooting everything I know. I reinstalled it too. Disabled all firewalls.

Wow. That sucks. What exactly happens when you try and load it?
I just get the 'can't connect' message. Yada yada. I want to kill this computer.

Huzzah. It now works. :)
It wasnt working before but now it works
Hmmm i had the same problem but now it works fine :)
Had it too for a while. Working again now :)
Every so often mine has the same problem for about 4 hours at a time before starting to work again. I put it down to our internet connection, but it might be problems with MSN. Have a little patience and it might come back.
Mine wasn't working this morning, so I turned the computer off for a bit. It's fine now.

MSN is teh phail at the moment, signing everyone in and out. I'm considering switching IM clients.
They occasionally take the servers down for upgrades, tests, maintenance, etc.
Don't forget that these servers handle really big loads and operate 24/7 for very long periods without being switched off, which is way more than any normal PC is expected to endure. So it's to be expected that they occasionally need to go down to cool off or undergo repairs. MSN messenger does have more downtime than other instant messenger services, but also it has many more users and features than other clients. I think to be honest I can put up with the occasional downtime if it means that I get to use a completely free and ultimately superior messenger client that all my friends use. |
I use Juno for internet and email, but msn for IM
