Forums problems. (Please read)
 

Aw, come on! Even EzBoard didn't have as many problems as UBB! Somebody tell me WHY THE FRACK do we have to go through slow connections and neumorous errors to use these forums? I, and I'm sure most of you out there find this REALLY frustrating! Why do we have to wait FRECKING AGES to acsess anything on here?!? This has gone too far, beyond my tollerance! Somebody needs to fix it and NOW! :mad: :mad: :mad:

I much prefer the UBB system to EZBoard. No popups, no ads, greater customization, the list goes on. The most obvious problem however is the slowness. This is due to Sydney's server. I think if it doesn't speed up soon, the best thing to do would be to move the board to another server but that's up to Sydney & Abe Babe.

I am normally a patient dragon, but this is getting ridiculous. Extremely slow load times or it not working at all on an almost daily basis is not exactly appeasing to me. It's even annoying me enough to the point where I almost don't WANT to visit this forums. And I know there are ppl on this forum that wouldn't want me to leave, but I just might if this issue isn't resolved soon...

i can't even get onto the forums unless i go via Oddworld-Web. it just gives me that screen thingy saying 'we couldn't get you to this site because blah blah blah'. it repeatedly gives me Internal Server Errors.

at first, i hated UBB, but then they changed it, and made it better than ezboard had been, then i loved it, but now i'm starting to dislkie it again...

Firstly, no one is in the position to demand anything. This place wouldn't exist if it weren't for me and Abe Babe and we do our best to keep it substantial.

The problems that have occurred within the past month were out of our control. I also noticed the slow loading times, although at the time I type this the loading time is fine. I emailed support and haven't yet received a reply. The problems were all part of a server upgrade that was supposedly to increase speed - how ironic.

I do sympathize, but understand I feel just as frustrated as you. As soon as I receive answers from support, I'll let you know what's going on.

It is really slow at times but at the moment it is loading very quickly. This morning though it was unbearably slow. I say we stop complaining to Abe Babe & Sydney as it really is not their fault. If it's too slow just come back another time. Meanwhile, whilst it remains fast, enjoy the speed.

Sorry if it seemed that I was having a go at AB and Sydney. I tried not to direct it at anybody in particular. I was just genrally complaining because I felt angry about it and needed to say something somewhere.
