AIDS is never funny...
...except when it's happening to World Of Warcraft!
http://www.bit-tech.net/news/2005/09...lague_disease/ http://wowaids.ytmnd.com/ This is the funniest thing I've seen in a long time. How stupid could Bizzard have been to put this into the game? I guess that's what you get for playing WOW . |
That's awesome! I wish I had WoW AIDs... :(
Perhaps they've set a new standard for which all other MMORPGs will proudly embrace. |
WoW is shit. This proves it on it's own.
The idea of in-game viruses is quaint but it's certainly not a new one. With a little luck the servers will all crash and explode into a big fireball, and WoW will die forever, but I don't think that's going to be happening any time soon. Shame really... |
Haha, that's brilliant. MMO plagues...
This never happened in the Test Server for that instance (back before the patch was released). :p |

Musta been in a shitty mood when I posted that. :p |
Damn, I thought there would be more posts here, especially from the WoW players. Ah well, I can't win anything.

Damn my crappy timing!

Reason Number 239 to play pen and paper games over online RPGing: I don't have to worry about a character I spent 19 hours with dying to AIDS.

World Of Warcraft AIDS sounds fun, It hasnt been happening on the realms i jump between. I wish it did,It might be dying down now though :(. |
AIDS!!!
|
This is the coolest thing I have _ever_ seen in a game.
|
Ummm.. allot of you don't understand what's going on there, I'll clarify.
USA gets a patch 1 day before EU, so there's going to be some bugs. The patch had an instance called Zul'Gurub, the group of players reach the end, and found the Boss, Hakkar. He curses you with a thing called ''Hakkar's Plague'', your character suffers insane damage over time, aswell as bleeding. The players beat him, and went back to Orgrimmar. However, Hakkar's Plague spreads onto others, so these idiots got all of Orgrimmar infected. After 3 hours it finally stopped. |
I read in news articles (some written by WoW players) that it spread all over a realm (whichever realm it was) and it was going for a few days. I also heard that GMs tried to quarantine Ironforge so they could contain it but some people broke quarantine.
