Yes although we seem to have losts some posts because of the recent events
example: a thread that had been closed by rich has be re-opened with some of the posts that were thier

You know, it's great that the forums are back and all, but honestly, I'm rather annoyed. Since I've been here, there's now been two pretty big losses of posts. Very annoying indeed.

I don't really talk on any other forums, so is this a common thing? Seriously, what's the point of putting so much effort into your posts when you have to fear the posts being lost as I assume it happens a few times a year here. It hasn't even been a year since the last loss of posts.

I actually have to agree with her. That fast food thread was getting good, and a hella lot of posts in the Sexy and WDYLL threads were lost as well, and those threads were also pretty hot.

You don't think it's as common on other boards? That's what I was asking. I don't think I made it very clear, so I'm doing so now.

whew, it only took about two weeks for the forums to come back

actually only one week I think. Still, it almost drove me to insanity, perhaps it is affecting me now, what with the possible time confusion. :devil:

I've visited a lot of forums, and this is the first one that's had such 'frequent' problems. Well, it's the first one that any posts have been lost. It's very frustrating. Perhaps reskinning that temporary skin would have been a better solution? :(

I used to be on a friend's forum and her's packed up a lot too.

The way I understand it, the forums were fucked completely. Getting the server to roll back was the only way to fix the problems.

That thread was nothing but a spam-filled wad of poo, good riddance. I don't mind a few posts being lost, the ends justify the means (oh dear, I sound like Jacob). :p
