More meat for the metaphorical Ruture Farms style grinder.
Hey, I'm new here (Even a Slig can tell that, it's so obvious). I've been an Abe fan since Exoddus first came out, and of course I went back and got the first one. I got Munch when it came out (ok, I confess, it was nowhere near as good as Abe's games...) and recently got Stranger's Wrath. Long story short, I got linked here from the official site.
I came here mostly to RP... I'm a huge forum rping fan, on a previous forum I was the #1 voted rper twice in a row, but that forum whent down and it's been what, 6 months now since I got to rp... I think the style I've seen here is wierd, it's too much like a script. I've never seen it that way. I generally prefer to story roleplay, like descriptive text, rather than script layout. Hope that doesn't bother any of you at all. I don't flame, I don't spam, and I can spell. I've been a mod on a couple of forums before (and not cos I was friends with the admins), so you don't have to worry about another ignorant n00b. I know how to behave. Nice to be here, I hope I get on alright with you... umm and I hope someone actually reads this. :P |

Yeah, he sounds like a good new member to me. I too like RPig, but also writing and reading fanfics. Just curious, what other sites where you a mod on? (It's just in case I already know you from elsewhere)

Well, I was a mod on a forum called Drowning Hope, it was made by a friend, but like I said I wasn't modded because of that. He had a lot of friends he blew off for modship. He jsut trusted me cos I'd been a mod before on a forum called FFX2online.com I joined there, not knowing anybody, and became one of the first 2 mods (the admin didn't like the idea of sharing power, but he needed the help. Trust me, I was shocked when I got accepted as a mod.) I doubt any of you would have heard of DH, but FFX2online was for a time the top result on a google search for FFX-2 so if any Final Fantasy fans are here you might have seen it. But that's my boring mod history done. I only had to deal with one bad spammer and in the end the only one who could keep him away was the admin (after coming back from a 2 week holiday -_-) Thanks for all the nice welcomes, guys. :) |

You sound like a sensible member who knows the rules, so I still like you. Yes, please join W@RF, but don't read through it all ,you probably only need to read from maybe the beggining-halfway through Part 3, as Parts 1 and 2 a very old and most of what appened in them desn't have a link to what's happening now, except for Arnie being the Boss etc.
