It's funny that in that article, they compare the porn industry to the tobacco industry, then go on about how porn is dangerous and toxic and they're going to remove it from society. When did porn overtake fecking TOBACCO as a health hazard?

A snuff movie is one featuring a person's death/murder for someone else's sexual gratification; I think it featured on an episode of CSI, once, and also the main theme of that movie "8mm" with Nicholas Cage in it (which freaked me out BIG time). I think it's an urban myth, but plenty of people reckon they exist.

Oof, I reluctantly reply to this. The lady probably is a "kook" just trying to back up her personal opinions and such, but meh.

While I don't think porn is necessarily bad, I definitely don't like it myself. I think a lot of guys have problems with drawing the lines between the fantasy stuff of pornography and the real women of reality. I also find it highly over-rated and some guys make too big of a deal over it, as if it's some sort of vital necessity even when they have girlfriends.

When school was in session, I got so pissed off at some of Luke's friends for accusing him for being "whipped" because he doesn't watch/look at it. Ironically, I don't think any of them were getting any "action." [/end short, personal rant :dodgy:]

A faked killing usually filmed by a crew of special effects wizards. Usually a total orgy of blood and guts. Some are claimed to be real, but apparantly these rumours are only spread by people who are turned on by the stuff, with the desired effect of adding to the illusion.

I haven't read it, but i get the gist. I hate people like this, these people are the sort of people that make me want to die as soon as possible. If society carries on in such a way, God has my permission to destroy the world before i conquer it.

I suppose it's true that some people now have unachievable standards of beauty, but considering all the other advertising and fashion we see does a lot more damage than pornography from time to time. Plus people who can't differentiate between fantasy and reality are what I like to call "morons".

Plus I would think that pornography helps to reduce rape and other sex-related crime. But the true answer is to decriminalize prostitution in the United States (I know there is one county in Nevada, but that doesn't really count)

If so, she's saying it is wrong to reproduce and continue the species. Yeah crappy nature example I know, but I'm just illustrating a point. Meh, I don't like hard coreporn, just non moving pictures and such. Man, back the ancient age with the greeks, they stuff like this all the time, not the "controversy," but the porn and stuff.
