2012 Olympics
 

First off, why the hell would you guys drop Baseball and Softball? I'd watch that over table tennis or a lot of the other fruity crap played.
Secondly, no karate? This is more of an IOC thing, but how in hell do you vote out karate? Doesn't the world deserve to know who the bitchingest master is?

Holy cheese, Bat-Man! Isn't there already a thread to the 2012 Olympics? Even though it's not about softball or karate, would it fit better in there?

I always presumed that baseball and softball were generally american sports, so many of the other countrys didn't play it. But that is my assumption, I've just never heard of base/soft -ball outside the US [except rounders but that's a different sport entirely ;)].

I think karate should have been kept in, but it's unfair. If karate is allowed, other martial arts should be allowed in too.

I don't actually think that anything should've been dropped. The figures speak for themselves.

300+ people will be out of a job. But saying that, it's from only 2 sports.

They shouldn't have dropped karate. Baseball and softball I couldn't care less, but I like all that karate stuff. It's cool to watch, and the more (good) events, the better the olympics is IMO.
