Thanks for the many welcomes. I think what went wrong was:

I initially entered my email address without checking the box saying: recieve email from admins, mneaning when I activated it I couldn't get the startup email. When I tried to recheck it, I still didn't get the email, and when I tried to make a new account, I couldn't cause the email's the same. I eventually got on by changing my email to a different one then swapping it back, which for some reason sent me the activation letter.

lol.... It was worse with me... I signed up with 3 accounts, cuz I didn't get the activation-mail.... I found out that i just had to wait some more minutes, cuz then my e-mail was full of activation-mails... :s
