The concept genesis:

The neverhood is based on a art show by Doug Tenaple called 'A beautiful day in the neverhood' about a clay city and clay people running around it, and then him and his team found themselves at Stephen Spielburg's house pitching an idea for a PC game and Dreamworks Interactive loved it! So they started drawing like crazy, coming up with monsters, contraptions, and puzlzles.

The story:

The neverhood is basicly taken from the bible in account of creation and mans fall,And as Klaymen, it's up to you to decide what's right and wrong so with that you have to figure out who you are and what you have to do to reach that decision point. Klaymen himself is inosant and the two things you have to ask yourself when you're the desiner: is the character funny or scary? Well, the charecters like Klaymen and Wille, they're funny! But in the case of Klogg ,(the bad guy) VERY funny.

Yep, I've heard of it. Oh, and if you can find it, buy Skullmonkies. That game is so fun, and you could probably get it brand spanking new for under 15 bucks.

Played a demo of it at some point earlier in my lifetime. I'm sure I've described it at some point over the course of my forum activity, but I remember that demo disk well... It was, like, this first person thing where you walked around a ship into portals to the demos. And there were these choin thingies you could pick up and throw around. All pointless, if I do recall.

Anywho, pretty unique game. Surely there's a place online where it's now downloadable. Or a gamestore where it's $5.

Oh, so NOW the little hooligans catch on to it...

Yes, I've played it before, I've loved it before. But it only works on Windoze 98 now, so, ack. I play it regularly still, on an old computer. But it would be much more convinient if it could run in NT.

I also loved Skullmonkeys. Choke on them apples.

I still have that game in my games shelf. It works on XP too. I didn't expect to be reading about it, though.

Yes, yes, I believe you... *cough*... So you're eight now?

It was fun for a while, but I thought it got old too fast. Klogg and Bill rules, though.
