Has anyone else noticed that the majority of the outlaws are obviously evolved from slogs?

.....how? by the teeth? the look? I'll get back to you on that.

Look at their jaws.

Actually, the only creatures I've ever identified Outlaws with were toads (Mortar minions), crocodyllians (Looten Duke and such), and slugs (i.e. Blisterz Booty's head shape).

Oh i see, connections between speices. Just like fleeches and Leeches. (obviosly)

Besides slog jaws are way wider than outlaw jaws wich i ever saw. if youve got a picture to show the equality(?) between outlaws and slogs, please post.

What were those things that looked like slogs but wernt? the outlaws looked to similar i think,they've evoloved from somthing low in the food chain that's for sure

Well, ive found a pic of lefty lugnutz, and i kinda see resemblence his jaws. But thats because you have different species of outlaws. Blisterz B. & Flint Xplosives are kinda like the outlaw on the picture 2 posts above, but without the horns and way more fat(that might be some sort of evolution).
what i mean to say is that outlaws could have been evolved into seperate (maybe unique but i don't think so) kinds, one having big jaws and the other's got horns.

Besides, didn't one of the concept art pieces for Slogs say that their jaws opened strangely?

I.e. the upper jaw was like the mandible (our lower jaw the mandible) and the main part was the lower part of the skull?

When I remember the Outlaws, their jaws opened normally.

The slogs' upper jaw the only jaw that can move and the lower jaw is fixed And like Dipstikk said, the outlaws' jaws open noemally.

and that, dipstikk, might be the finishing blow that outlaws haven't got any relationship with slogs.(seeks cover for possibly angry Old And Not So Tasty)

Yes, they did. They're quite annoying, always running at you and when they hit you, they receed into your body. Kind of creepy, if you ask me.

I'm sticking to my guns on this. I think that the majority (not all) of the outlaws are evolved from slogs. Their jaws do not open the same way, true. But evolution obviously leaves out certain traits as it occurs. Plus, you were comparing them to slegs. They look a lot more like slogs.

That's like saying Boombats and Steef. They both have brown hair, the Steef must've come from the Boombat... I mean come on. Slogs look NOTHING like the Outlaws. They both have jaws, that's true... but other than that, I see absolutely NO difference.

It's funny. I wonder if you would talk to me like I'm stupid and with that amount of derision if I was there in person. Somehow, I doubt it. I see a similarity. That doesn't make me a fool. And if you did happen to have the balls to talk to me like that in person you would get the teeth smacked out of your face. So in conclusion, **** you coward. Any person who treats others like shit from the safety of a computer screen is nothing but a craven asshole.:)

Now, hold on. Nobody's insulting you and there's no reason to lash out. You're not under attack from people who are just telling you why your theory wouldn't work.

Saying that Slogs look like Outlaws is a really long shot to the two are biologically related. The differences definately outweigh the similarities. Some of the Outlaws (other than the mortar-types) have teeth along the rim of their lips Their bodies differ greatly in both size and physiology, whereas Slogs are the same shape and build.

One of the biggest differences - Slogs are bipedal in the sense that they only have two legs. Outlaws are bipedal as well, but they still have four limbs. There's also the lack of eyes in Slogs.

You need to be able to take dissapointment. Just because we've proved your theory to be false doesn't mean you have to bark at us. I'm sorry you don't like the answer, but getting mad about it won't change anything.

I couldn't agree more with the others, however. I am not saying you are stupid or anything, but I do not think that Slegs and Outlaws are in anyway related.

You only know each through the forums,
and if you knew each other in person you probably wouldnt be talking about the evolution of Slogs.

And seeing as you have (despite many requests) still failed to offer any plausible proof, or even an image that shows the similarities, I think that we have full right to be politely skeptical.

Very true; I have seen nothing convincing, or practically anything that would show an Outlaw and a Sleg/Slog's relation to each other.

Hold up. I don't mind being disagreed with. That post was meant entirely for Kimon. If you read that and you don't think that was the least bit insulting then I don't know what to tell you. If you think I'm just whining because people don't agree with me then look a couple of posts above my last one. The one before anyone decided to be an asshole about it. I think you will see that there were no problems. I just don't appreciate being talked down to because I have a polar point of view. I would never do that to any of you. And as for giving links to the reason why I think this, I am hardly computer literate and would never be able to figure out how to do that.
