2 questions.
I have 2 questions people.
1. I have the Offical Stratagy Guide for Munches Oddysee and it says there is a Black Quarma were if you kill everyone you get an extra newspaper which is impossible for you have to save at least 10 fuzzles at the start, but if anyone has done it could you post the newspaper? 2.*MINER SPOILER* How many moons does Oddworld have exactly, and howcome no one ever noticed them until Abe went to the cliff and when Vykkers Labs blew up. Did dead spirits do this or something to show who it ws who saved the races, and in each Oddysee game will there be a different moon. |
wow. didn't know the first one. I've been playing Munch's Oddysee and trying to kill everyone, but it is impossible to kill the fuzzles on the first Munch level. I wonder how is that possible.. :o
|
I know its weird and its the offical guide! Would it lie?
|
If it's the official guide, no it wouldn't lie.
|
it's perfectly possible, some guys here already done it and posted pictures of the newspaper, feel free to search on the forums
|
I don't think you need to kill every mudukon and fuzzle, but you have to kill as many as possible. It's like the super bad endings in Abe's Oddysee and Exoddus, it's impossible to kill everything.
I'm not sure, but mudokon natives seem to affect your quarma, too, however it might just be for the halo that appears above Abe's or Munch's head. I.E. In the Spoocegrub Forest (second level of MO) if you kill all the mudokon natives after you've used them and don't resurrect them, you get the red jagged halo above Abe's head. As for question two, I have no idea, I guess it's just one those things that makes Oddworld odd! |
Super bad ending in AO and AE. Whats that?
|
All endings, complete with newspaper scans, conveniently found here. Have a nice day.
|
I do not understand how this is possable? You have to save Fuzzles to open doors, you have to save Mudokons to open doors?
|

this should be in oddworld Q and A.
why has no one said that? |
I did. :O Just in the 'The BIG questions' thread.
Mods, please, please merge both of these threads. |
Yes, you need to save (I think) 6 fuzzles in the escape from Vykker's Labs and 2 muds when you return there, but other than that you just don't save anything. I don't even think you have to kill them (though I did) to get black quarma.
As for the moons, there have been many discussions on this topic in the past. They've mainly been based around two theorys. Either a) meteorites landed at exactly the right moment to create the craters at the time that the heroes were finding their calling or b) the craters have been around for ever and the heroes themselves have been unaware of them. For more detail, do a search. |
Yes, you do need to kill a certain amount to get the bad ending bonus. If you don't you just get the normal bad ending.
|
yeah! it is possible to get black quarma. I just played the game and got the black quarma. you don't need to kill ALL but you can save only a few.
I saved total 10 out of 199 |
I'm pretty sure it also helps in getting Black Quarma, if you kill the normally helpful natives. Case in point, in the second level, after you get the natives to fight the rent-a-cop and his slogs, pick them up and throw them off a cliff. Don't bother to resurect them. You're score will plummit, I assure you.

Yes Rich, but OWI may have changed the history since then because we've been hearing conflicting accounts on the moon's origins.
|
lorne said at first it would never been explained and that there would always be a misterious aura around it...
and one explication came and a totally explication came now we are confused and don't realy know what's the origin of the moons |
Forget Question 1, I got Black Quarma.
