Pity Those Who Work Outside

I had this idea for awhile now. This was a sketchy thing that came out to a full mspaint drawing, though it would have been better if my mouse wasn't broken. >:/ Have you guessed what's happening in the picture? |
Is it a slig contemplating suicide?
|
Are the birds chipping off part of his skin? Or are they summoning Abe?
|
Wow, that great for Paint. I think the Sligs tail should be a bit pointier.

He wants to live a natural life.

No, but you all gave me some great ideas! I got the idea that the certain sligs who work outside might just be haunted by the birds of the mudokons they kill-- whether they are interested in killing, or just shooting down attempted escapees because it is their job. Thanks for noticing the trees though, they were a pain to make, the background ones are smaller to show distance and stuff.
And, thanks, my mouse is really messed up though. When I try to draw a line a certain diagonal way, it switches to being a vertical line, so I have to draw some parts upside-down. x_x I was originally going to do this in Photoshop, but I'm a huge paint fan for some reason. |
I agree-this is a very good drawing for a Paint (I never tried to do a background in that program, 'cause I think it's too difficult, but you did a great job)...and you did it with a mouse! Great work.
And on your theory about Sligs being haunted by Mudokon birds....even if so, I don't think they would bother, they would just shoot them on sight and laugh at the bloody pile of feathers (the psychos they're, and I love them that way). But...on the other hand it's kinda nice to think that they're caring Sligs somewhere, torn between their loyality for Glukkons and the things they think are not right, but have to do them because it's their work...maybe I over-interpreted that, but I still think it's a good idea (I have one Slig character that have two Mud friends ^^'). |
