The Everyday Lives of the Action Figures

Bored one day, when my friend was round, I decided to take pictures of some action figures and give them small captions. The results turned out better than I expected.

I've sroted out the links.

Here are three more:

Also, if I were to make a site for these, what would I have to put in the disclaimer and what would I have to avoid doing so I don't get sued?

Abe16 04-25-2005 02:36 PM

The Obi-wan thing was funny! Do more!

mudling 04-25-2005 02:53 PM

they're realy funny. i don't know how you can avoid breaking the law though.

'Disclaimer: These actions figures are here for comedic purposes only. I am not taking credit for any plastic figure material portrayed on this site. Please don't sue?' . That might work.

Just one small request... If possible, could you save the images in formats other than '.png'? It's just, it opens Quicktime everytime I try to open a '.png'.

I used to do these alot... ^-^ Kudos for reminding me of my earlier youth. And Kudos for some amusing captions.

Hmmmm...that's wierd. I could view it then and still can now. =/

 Anyway, those others were funny, too! This one is my ultimate favorite!

Yeah, you're a really creative person...
I think you could go in the real comic-writing business...

Yeah, that disclaimer might work. Thanks for that :)

Also, about the .png problems, if I save the picture in .jpg format, the quality decreases A LOT. Maybe you should change the default program that opens .png files. Normally, when I click a link to an image file, the image opens up in my browser.

I've thought about that quite a lot. I'm not entirely sure what career I'm going to go for yet.

Hey, you and me both. :)

The thing is, it opens a browser, then shows the Qtime symbol, and takes ages to load. I understand the quality thing, compressing file also means compressing quality... :fuzemb:

Right-click on any .png file you have on your hard drive, then click 'Open with...' Choose the program from the list, or browse for one. I recommend using Paint to open 'em, but the choice is up to you. Then tick the box next to 'Always use the selected program to open this file'. Then click OK.

Done.

Yeppers, that's whats I did. It opens in IExplorer, but in IE it opens a Qtime applet. Nevermind, I can stand with loading times now. :)

I try to make my action figures and put them in those poses but it doesn't work.

Uh...

It was pretty easy for me. The only one I had trouble with was the hanging one.

Then i'm gonna have to find more alien figures.
