Pain sucks goddamnit!
Hit my shin on the jesus jew curseword pointy-ass-table while I was on deskchair atmosphere re-entry goddamnit. >_<
Anyway. What are your experiences of pain? Hit your head on an open cupboard door lately? Perhaps you've walked into a lampost or winded yourself on a bollard? God damn bastard bum inconvenient bastard painful objects! Strategically placed to reduce the population obviously...damn them up the um...bum. :dead: Or something... ... No I'm not finished yet. Ow. Fuck. Pain. Knee. Ow. Shit. Now I am. |
I don't know if this has ever happened to anyone else, but have you ever been barely touched by something that's not even very sharp, like the edge of a table, and have it feeling like a pterodactyl is biting your torso? I had that the other day. I don't know how it works, I think I hit a nerve or something.
Plus, I have paper cuts on 6 of my fingertips. That's a royal bitch. |
I had an ... ingrowin... toenail...
THat... mother****ing.... hurts!!! |
Arg! I bit thumbnail to the rim and cut my finger all most off! Dangit!
|
My worst pain ever... recently breaking my wrists. It's not only painful, but it's a real bitch when you can't draw.
|
My most recent pain experience was falling up the stairs and hitting my middle finger on the floor and it bent and ended up facing backwards. Luckily, I instictively pulled my hand back and my finger just moved back into it's normal position. It was painful but not much.
My worst pain experience was a few months back when I broke my right ankle while playing football. Now that was painful! |
well, a coinedence, a few years ago when i first got ao, i was reading the booklet while walking along and walked directly into a lampost. that didnt hurt much, but i had septisaemia last year, and that hurt. the most pain in my life actually, i couldnt walk and stuff. i had an operation and now im better. yay!
|
I jumped in a thorn bush by accident. Damn it hurt. Huge thorns in every part of my body. Seriously, don't underestimate them, the overall body pain makes it a nasty experience.
|
Mine is probably burning myself with a glue gun, it burnt all round my finger then pulled all the skin off... And I skill have the scar :)
Or maybe when me brother pushed me in a thornbush, When i got out i felt all the thorns tearing up my legs :( And it ripped a huge hole in the front of my trousers, Even worse it was only lunch time... At School! |
Well, when i was a lil' kid, i got my finger stuck in the door, while someone closed it. I almost broke the bone.
Then i walked with one of my friend's dog, and it when forewards too fast, and i fell on my knee, getting a huge wound. The sma day i climbed up in a tree, and fell down on my wounded knee, which hurt even more. For 2-3 years ago, i was jumping on.... those jumping thingies, landed om my knee, and broke 2 of my teeth, that hurt. EDIT: I've tried burning myself with a glue-gun too. That really hurt. |
:
Yeah i really hate glue guns now lol. |
lol... yea... I really hate trampolenes now :P
I've never jumped on one since then... |
I dont really like them much anyway, They are really repetative all you do is jump, jump, jump for ages lol
|
Ah, but trampolines and thorn bushes. Now thats an idea. ;)
Back in the early 90's, when I was a small child, a car trunk/boot lid fell and hit me on the head. If I recall that hurt quite a lot too. *sigh* They don't make unstable things like they used to. |
Well, I have daily headaches. They're not so bad, but it's still pain. Now and then I have extreme pain in my arms or legs. I had that just a few days ago. It might have been because it woke me up in the middle of the night and I was still half asleep, but it felt like the one and only thing I was aware of was that pain. I freaked out about it in the morning. I have no idea what it is either, I have good circulation and no illness. Apart from that and the smashing of toes against chairs, I haven't experienced anything horrible.
|
I've had a van's sliding door slammed on my head when I was younger. It could have turned out fatal if it had been a little harder. God, just thinking about it makes me ache.
|
Possibly the worst thing I've ever experienced was shutting the second knuckles of four fingers on my right hand in a door. This has actually happened twice. I wouldn't think knuckles would be particularly sensitive, but the pain was so excruciating I almost passed out both times. You know how you just feel sort of weird after you hit your elbow on something? It was like that, but a thousand times worse. I think I threw up when it happened.
Paper cuts suck too. |
Heh, my friend's sister shut his finger in a car door and he wrenched it out. Uber blood!
|
Well when I very young, I was one a track site thing, you know, like a moter cross track with steep big bumps. Except it was concrete, and abandend. So I got my bike, drove very fast on it, and flew. But I landed onto the ground uncontroliby, and bike on top of me. Sure made me look like jack-ass. It was painful though, but I was a kid, and excepreinced more pain than I do now.
Mabye thats why I don't ride on bikes no more. |
I had an ingrown toenail, which in itelf, hurts like a mother. I went in for the operation-thingy to get the nail removed and the infection cleaned. The docter numbs my foot, and begins. Everything is going well, when all of the sudden, my toe begins to bleed uncontrolably. She (the doctor) did something that made a hissing noise, I dunno what it was- I wasn't watching (hell, I wasn't going to watch my foot get mutilated), and all of the sudden, there's a sharp pain in my toe. Apparently, I bled so much that the numbing chemical got washed out- and she was only half way done with the operation! She numbed it shortly thereafter, but in those 10-15 minutes that it took, it was absolute hell.

Anyway back on topic, My brother shut my head in a car door. Aaaages ago. |
Now you can't say that wasn't funny! :D
Anyway, another thing I did which wasn't actually that painful but I'll tell you anyway. The only reason being I have a video of it. On second thoughts I have no way to host it. I can't show you. If anyone knows of a free video hoster, could you PM me with the details? Thanks. Edit: Actually, on second thoughts. If anyone wants to see me falling out of a tree, just email me at godlesswanderer[at]gmail.com (just replace the [at] with a @) and I will send it. |
I once punched an already demolished glass pane before. You get the picture ;) It hurt for frickin' weeks. I was pretty damn stupid then. Ever more so than now. I still have scars in my knuckles...
|
I accendently ram my lip into a lightswitch, I rushed to the ER and got stitches, they're gone, you cn't see'em though.
|
How the hell could you ram your lip in a light switch..? :fuzconf:
|
I once tripped onto the stairs of an esculator (it had stopped working and i was carrieing realy heavy bags). the blades cut into my leg and i could see blood and blubber and so i had to have 5 stitches, it was painful.
|
You're lucky you didn't hit your head on the edge of one of the escalator steps, if you had you would almost certainly have suffered a blunt head trauma of some kind, which would possibly lead to a critical brain haemorrhage, which is almost always fatal.
I've hit my shin on escalator stepedges before and I know how sharp those edges are. What makes it so bad is the fact that the actual steps have a metal grip surface composed of raised stip fins side by side that are perpendicular (at a right angle) to the edge of the step (which is actually pointless because it doesn't offer any kind of useful grip to anyone using the stairs), thereby effectively creating a very sharp saw edge along the step edge. Also, the edge of the step is at a less than 90 degree angle profile, so that instead of dropping straight down, it overhangs creating an acute edge, meaning that the step edge is even sharper still. Yeah. They're practically accidents waiting to happen. |
I had many accidents, but I have never broken any of my bones. If I think of it, it's a miracle I haven't.
Once, we were playing football at winter (starting good, ain't it?). I was just scoring, but the momentum of my kick was a bit too much, thus, I was standing on ice that time. So I kicked, I slipped and my head BANGed, right into the ice on the ground. I was lying on the ground, but I wasn't unconcious. Hell, the world was a blur right then. The other one was in school. Some of my Literature papers fell on the ground, before my chair. I started picking them up, and my head was at the level of the chair. And one of my classmates kicked that chair by "coincidence". First, I was not really bothered, but they told me that my head is bleeding. The chair almost hit my right eye. Instead, it hit my eyebrow, so there are no visible remains of this accident. Lucky, isn't it? I mean, if it would hit my eye... That must be painful. |

One of my earliest memories is of being hit in the face with a wooden block in preschool. This little asshole juvenile delinquent of a four-year-old decided to throw one of his little temper tantrums when we were conveniently playing with wooden building blocks. He threw one from maybe twenty feet away and the edge of it smacked me right below the right eye. When it happened, it dazed me so much I wasn't really aware of the pain. I think I was unconscious for a little while, because the next thing I remember was lying down on a hospital bed with a nurse standing over me stitching my cheek flesh back together. I think it must have hit the eye itself a bit, because I also seem to remember them doing something incredibly painful to my eyeball.
Up until a few years ago, you could still see a line just below my eye where it cut my cheek. |
