What do you think of this "Fangus" guy?
 

Any thoughts? Surely, it's not official yet (or is it?) but I'm both intrigued and disappointed with the image I saw in this month's Game Informer.

I was quite actually hoping for more Stranger while we wait for the continuation of the quintology (or, better yet, Munch's Exoddus!). But another new character doesn't seem too appealing. Especially considering that OWI isn't giving us the time it takes to enjoy the full depth of the potential they're creating with their characters (i.e.: Munch/Stranger). Don't get me wrong, I utterly loved OSW and also look forward to anything OWI offers us. If OSW was longer and took us thru more turns, perhaps I could see the warrant for another new character... but Stranger hasn't even had time to marinate yet.

Abe's movement felt complete. Munch was left behind and now Stranger's getting cut off? I love ODDWORLD, but I'm beginning to see a pattern here.

Fangus has been dropped.

No more cougarman. There are like, ten threads about Fangus, stating "omg wenn Fnagus ganna cum out i swa himm in da noozpapr11111?????"

And I would laugh because they said "cum."

lol I suppose I should've checked the forums more thoroughly (my appologies, I'm doing homework as I made my topic).

I suppose I'll have to search more when I have more time to discover why Fangus was dropped and all this discussion on it.

I support your discovery of humour in such statements.

fangus won't be developped by OWI, perhaps by someone else, perhaps not at all...
