The REAL problem at hand!
 

Hiya! My name is whodaimen, (don't google me.) I have joined your fine forums to point out the REAL problem at hand in the oddworld universe. And that is! MY BELOVED COMPANY IS MOVING OUT OF MY TOWN! Before I even got a tour! It all started a few years back when I was a wee little child. I was still homeschooled back then and a bunch of kids got to go on an oddworld tour! Then it happened, good old gramps died on the day of the tour, and I didn't get to go. My friend still went, and the lucky bastich got signed shit from the place, tons of patches boxers and whatnot, and a damned HAND WRITTEN CARD from lorne explaining how special he is and how he's going to go far. I wrote to Alf explaining it, and there were no tours he could fit me into, because they wern't going to have any anytime soon. And now, two years later, they're moving, and I'll never get to see the glory that is the 5 foot statue of abe next to their pool table.
Oh woe is me. On a lighter note, stranger was awesome.

Ok now I'm pissed. My friend just told me his mother saw Lorne in a hair cutting place. Some people get ALL the luck. Although I do commend them for moving. Currently their building is downtown on TOP of a ross store.

No doubles? Ah ok, I wander around over fifty boards, most of which allow it. Although I'll respect the rules here.

Ross, dresses for less. Theyre building is downtown, near the mission, on the second level on a building that has ROSS beneath it.

i feel sorry for you! i wanted to go there but i guess it isn't possible with living over a huge ocean and all.

I guess they don't give tours to anybody anyway... I'd love to visit their studios one day

I would also like to wisit Oddworld sometime. But I think that I'll never have enough money for that, because I live in Finland too... it would cost a little bit too much for me :P

I should think visiting OWI's studios is a dream of any Oddworld fan. I'd definitely love to. I feel sorry for you, whodaimen, to have come so close but not quite made it. You've done better than most, anyway.

From what my friend says, it was the other homeschoolers who runied the tour thing. He said they probobly arent doing any more because all the little brats didnt really care, just looked at the ceiling pickin their noses.

Yeah, they probably don't do big tours any more, but I remain hopeful that they'll be able to fit me in when I come to California this year. I mean I'm going to spend three months living in San Luis Obispo; how much commitment is that?
