new wells
 

in the number 4 new mo movie you get to see some really cool new wells. they are centered on cliffs and allow abe to fly through. i am glad to see that oddworld has not discarded the idea of wells.

Yeah. The wells are cool because now he has to open them up. Neato!

i think it would be mad, if they do a movie? Show abe going inside an ordinary well and seeing how it works :eek:

That would be interesting, but could possibly destroy the magicallness of the wells.

Near the end of that particular movie, to the left of the well Munch comes through, are what appear to be landmines. They surround a little path of green humshrubs. Nice to see they aren't gone either.

Yeah, I'm also glad that there are wells in MO. They are really cool! I'd also like to see a movie with Abe flying inside a well, ODDBODD!

We can see that Abe needs a help of three of his friends to make the well work. They seem to be chanting around the well to open it and to make Abe be flushed through the air, from one well to another, until he gets to his destination.

Just one last weird thought... What if these new wells are not made by mudokons, and they are instead a kind of huge plant with underground tubes connected to each other? and what we can see is actually a huge flower that opens when mudokons chant around it?

The fourth well that tosses out Munch seems to work via a nearby lever, so this ruins my theory. Oh well....

I wonder if the wells are multi-directional... like in Oddysee and Exoddus, there is a switch that determines which way you will fly out of a well. In a 3D world, the possibilities could be endless.

Or imagine if you could control the direction you fly out of the well.

It's a cool idea. But then there's the wells used by the Glukkons.

ummm if that were true then what about the wells in the mines and stuff, and how can a plant be turned on by a lever. But i guess the ones that are just a hole (when getting into the vaults in necrum) might be natural :)
