Uncle Abe wants YOU!

Haha, I'm sorry. I had to. Ever since I read on the EA site that Wolvarks were "Blue Collared Security Guards," I had this image of one reciting Larry the Cable Guy's famous line.
Yes, I do know what Blue-Collared means.

"Oh, no. What have I done?"
"What did we do? Muahahaha."

odd chick 03-22-2005 05:22 PM

Those are nice drawings, Dipstikk. Personally, I absolutely HATE Larry the Cable Guy, but I still like how you captured the Oddworld style in your "blue-collared" drawing. ;) They're all great! :)

Dipstikk 03-22-2005 05:37 PM

Thank you!

odd chick 03-22-2005 05:39 PM

No problem. :) I hope you post more soon.

Abe16 03-22-2005 07:08 PM

Viroxide 03-22-2005 07:23 PM

I am yet to see this Hulking Insectoid hero that you proposed :)

Kimon 03-22-2005 07:23 PM

"Git 'er done!"

That's great. I was just watching the Roast of Jeff Foxworthy last night. Good stuff, keep it up!

WineDarkSea 03-23-2005 03:41 AM

Viroxide 03-24-2005 01:28 PM

He will in good time, just a question, how do you colour your pictures?
Or pretty much could you run me through the process you take in order to make these look the way they do?

I use Photoshop CS, and a lot of layers.

Oddish 03-24-2005 02:19 PM

Superb work there.

I used to crop pieces and fill them in with my old programme, but's being such an ass. I still don't how to colour a piece without dissapearing the shading and lines with photoshop, yeah, I finally have it.

Dipstikk 03-26-2005 07:24 PM

Inspired by the Xplosives McGee level.

Wow! I love your artwork Dipstikk! I love the Stranger picture and that Clobbster sure looks deadly.

Viroxide 03-26-2005 11:24 PM

Cool Globbster, different to what i thought it would be, but good none the less, i have a character in the making too, insectoid, im still refining the design and storyline.

mudling 03-26-2005 11:54 PM

wow, great artwork!

Five 03-27-2005 10:38 AM

I don't like to repeat myself, so I won't say again that your art is great :D
My favourites from those would be the ones with Actra (especially "what have we done" one, great expressions and inking) and the one of Stranger :)

...not to muscle in on Matt's topic or anything, but... ;) Fiddle around with the layer properties when you're colouring - set the layers above the drawing so they're transparent (sort of) - not sure what it's called in PhotoShop as I don't have it (probably wouldn't hardly use it if I did have it, to be honest, I'm so lazy with computer colouring), but in the programs I DO have they call it "multiply" (PhotoPlus)or "hybrid" (Pixia). You can get a sort of watercolour effect.

Paco_the_Taco 03-31-2005 07:46 PM

ODDFREEK 03-31-2005 08:54 PM

Dude that is amazing! You are awsome at drawing.

Dipstikk 03-31-2005 09:45 PM

Ha, thanks you guys.

odd chick 03-31-2005 09:53 PM

STranger fighting what I "creatively" named a "Sidewinder," which is an Oddworld equivelant of a giant venomous snake. It will be making an appearance in my fan fiction soon. It got really badly scuffed.

Bailey "Tiny" Markowitz from my fic confronting Pugsley. I'm trying a bolder line style.

Pugsley and Chains about to rob a few houses. Pugs doesn't look too happy.

Same new style. Stranger using the ol' scare tactic on a Clakker.

SUPER SHADER 64!
