Protestant, Pwn, both begin with a P.
A mere coincidence? I think not! Guess who's on a 22 day break, beeyotchs!!!
All because of some silly Nazarene talking shit to Pharisees! Seriously, though, being a Lutheran come breaktime is GRAVY. My Christmas break has been pimp slapping my brother's public shool ones by a good 8 days on average. My fam goes to school 20 days more than I do, plus my breaks are much longer, plus Easter break, and the real Ace of Spades kicker is that I get out of school MID MAY! OMFG! |
Hmmm, I think I can top that. I go to college. I only go to class when I feel like it.

True, but you are an adult. That's a pretty nice deal for a 17 year old, all things considered.

A Protestant! I should have known... :p
Mwhahahaha! Catholics are the majority in Australia! And as long as we continue to pump out babies, and vote Labour, we'll be almighty! Out of interest, what is the most populous Christian denomination in the US? I know Ohio is full of Mormons (oh joy), but what else? And anyone owning up to being a Jehova's Witness will be instantly banned from the forums. Alcar... |

Catholicism is still the dominant religion worldwide as well as stateside. Ah well, I'll wear the orange and protest to the day I die.
|
Is it true that Lutherans believe that everybody is going to Hell, bar a few, yet you have to be good on Earth anyway, because if you are you'll be punished less when in Hell?
|
No, other denominations that believe Jesus is their savior go to Heaven to. Catholics, Presbyterians, Baptists, the 9. Oh, and you are probably thinking that Lutherans believe in Purgatory, which is pretty ironic considering that teaching inspired Luther to nail the 95 Theses and start the Reformation.

And I think there are more Protestants than Catholics in the U.S, but I'm not really sure. |
'Oh, and you are probably thinking that Lutherans believe in Purgatory, which is pretty ironic considering that teaching inspired Luther to nail the 95 Theses and start the Reformation.'
Well, i did actually believe that all Religions that did the "God Vs Lucifer" thing believed in Purgatory, obviously not. I find it quite interesting how so many branches have been formed from just one guy, and i wonder how the branches actually became formed without people worrying that they'd go to Hell for making up new rules. |
Really, I thought that Catholicism had a lot more members than that. Thanks for the correction. Anyhow, it still is the king of Christianity, which is beyond reasonable doubt. Maybe there are more protestants than Catholics in the U.S. but you have to keep in mind that there are dozens of different sects of Protestantism, and then synods or groups based on how orthodox or heterodox a group is. For instance, Lutherans alone have a good handful of splinter groups like ELS, WELS, ELCA, etc.

Have you guys ever been to Northern Ireland? It's a warzone.
