France loves Oddworld
Here are a couple of French links:
http://www.xbox-mag.net/ review: http://www.xbox-mag.net/la-fureur-de...ger__7102.html interview: http://www.xbox-mag.net/interview-lo...ing__7109.html http://www.xboxatomic.com/ review: http://www.xboxatomic.com/tests/aff_test.php?id=129 http://www.xboxgen.net/ minisite: http://www.oddworld.xboxgen.net/ http://www.playsir.com/news/testoddworld.php special stranger skin http://www.xboxmatch.com/ review: http://www.xboxmatch.com/games/index...review_jeu=436 Also OSW is number one game on xbox in France and Germany!!! and number 3 in the UK, but that's not new ;) |
Great news Xavier!
Thanks france. On the skins, is Strangers eyes painted with green? |
France should be glad they like oddworld!
|
I'm extremely happy that France and the rest of Europe is really taking a liking to this game. :) I just wish that the U.S. would do the same. Stranger's Wrath is not even in the top ten here. :(
|
Thank Odd for Europe, saving our asses again!
|
forgot to say that http://www.xbox-mag.net/ had a stranger skin during a few weeks before and even after the official release of the game :p
|
OSW is now number 4 in the UK Xbox chart. FIFA Street has hit the number one spot - possible the worst game to ever be on the number 1 spot.
|
Well you know UK loving football, or as you USA people say: Soccor.
What about the Japan chart? and info? |
there's also a huge contest going on in France... it started a few weeks ago
http://www.oddworld.viralgames.com they have already 12542 "contestors" subsribed on that site. |
Thanks for that. I'm glad that at least SOME countries love this game ;)
Oh yeah, and what skin? I see no skin on any of those pages. |
Sad but true...
Europe: 1 America: 0 Still, nice to see Oddworld getting the notice it so richly deserves. |
i am very happy oddworld is selling well in europe including france! i'm sure oddworld is going to do well everywhere else but we just have to wait.
|
I hope so too...
but Oddworld always sold better in europe, even for the previous games. thus it's kinda normal stranger's selling etter over here ;) |

|
there should be an oddworld theme park in france...
with rollercoasters and people dressed in styrofoam suits! |
I don't know why but an inner voice inside myself is yelling:
"NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" |
Hey there :)
For those who'd like to see the refacing we made, I have a capture we made during the campaign. http://samanosuke.free.fr/shann/XMHome.JPG The quality is not very good because of compression, and there is an other part that you cannot see on this pic. Also, as our website is extendable, we have a larger version for high resolutions : http://samanosuke.free.fr/shann/band...d2_complet.jpg And btw, for those who'd like to read the interview we made of Lorne Lanning, there is an english version here : http://www.xbox-mag.net/article7107.html As you can see Lorne asks you a question at the end. I'll send him the answers within a week, so be quick if you want to answer it. It'll be forwarded to him. :) Oh ! And of course... Oddworld rocks !! :D |
Thank you very much!
|
wow thank you very much!
are you actually from Xbox Mag.net? if that's so, be aware I love your site :D |
Thank you very much Xavier, good feedbacks are always motivating for us :D
To everyone : don't hesitate to send your answers (the email is in the article). They all are very welcome, and will be read with attention by Lorne (at least he told me so :p) And as you seem to speak French, I can tell you "que j'aime beaucoup ton implication dans l'univers oddworld. Une personne qui aime tant ces jeux ne peut qu'être intéressante, et c'est chouette de voir des gens défendre l'univers Oddworld comme ça." |

Wow! Thanks for those links, Shann! :)
|
Yeah, thanks for the link! I sent my answer to Lorne's question a few minutes ago.
|
I'm still trying to formulate it...
gosh harder then expected |
