about time for a new website
 

anyone else think its time for oddworld to contempoize their website? i wouldnt want them to do this if it would interfere with a game in progress, but i would like to see the site format updated. It has been a couple years hasnt it? I think its the same from when MO came out.

I would like to see a return to some of the more interesting monthly updates like the Daily Deception.

why not next month :p
I mean the game is over, they could give us in depth info about Stranger

From memory there has been a pattern of new ow.coms following in the months after a release. But I quite like the current one, to tell you the truth, except for the fact that the archive doesn't go back far enough.

The archive goes as far back as OWI have operated Oddworld.com. Up until the post-AE, pre-MO relaunch, the site was run by GT Interactive.

yah the site layout is very old it could use a new skin or something...

They're probably busier with the move than anything else.

But it would be nice if they could get ahold of the GT info and put it up. There was some good stuff there.

I've asked Alf about that before. Records of that site's content, he says, are almost certainly non-existent. That's a shame really, as the Dear Alf of the day had information on Oddworld's Theory of Relativity and the planet's being ten times the size of Earth.

actually I think we saved the text that mentions oddworld being 10 times bigger then earth.

and too bad that the "ask Lorne" feature is lost too.

I'd really like to see the Official Oddworld Website update with a new style. I think it'd be wicked-cool (:p). Not to mention I'm looking forward to all the juicy content that would be updated.

in oddworld universe at the offical oddworld website don't you thnik they should have put stranger and wolvarks and all that there by now

I think Oddworld Inhabitants should hire a website team. Kind of like Bungie.net. There is always new updates and information...and I believe it would connect more Oddworld fans to visit the site on a regular basis.

Mabey tommorow, not sure though. They didn't want to spoil what characters there in the game before people have it and played ;)

And OWI are busy people I heard. That's why Alf has an assisstant.

Of course, and this is why I'm suggesting hiring a very small team of people dedicated to the website for the fans.

This defiently costs money, so that really depends on OWI's budget.

They probably have to rethink the classifications to fit in outlaws and clakkers.

Who are you talking to Esus? Because I don't remember Alfie saying aught about outlaw classification. If I have missed something, please give me link to which one.
