I'll be away on the Isle of Wight from the 19th to the 23rd of this month. It's a geography field trip. I'll be wading in rivers, wandering around settlements, and getting off with anyone I can.

Xav tells me he can cover our combined moderating duties over that period. I just hope your hearts won't be wrenched at the prospect of my absense. Heh. Just a forewarning.

Guess who's back!

Well, that was a dull trip. Too many people trying to impress too many other people. Work was simple to grasp. Food was dismal. Weather was alright, though, and Alex was such a dear &helip; sometimes.

Great to come home and have mum nag at me and find GD filled with … really interesting threads and meaningful posts and intelligent posters. Joy!
