Moral Dilemma
 

I am a huge fan of Samurai Jack. Recently I purchased an official binder for the trading card set that comes with a number zero card and an uncut sheet of chase cards. I received the product two days later in perfect condition. The problem is that when I came home the next day I found another package containing the same thing. He accidentally sent it to me twice. I've been waiting for an email from the guy but I don't think that he realized that he did this. Does anyone think that I should send it back?

I believe that this is the afterlife and I'm already in my own personal hell so I'm not real worried about that. :)

Well, I could sell it to the local comic shop. I'm not that greedy of a man my little raisin but I certainly don't intend on paying shipping to return it.

Email the dude ask him what he wants you to do with it, If he wants it back ask him to pay shipping.

Or you could just sent it back to him.

I don't know, call me old fashioned, but that just seems like... you know... the right thing to do. We all make mistakes. Even if he doesn't realize what he did, you should at least alert him to the fact that he did, indeed, send you an extra product.

Geeze, people. All religious beliefs aside, I would like to think that humanity still has some semblance of moral structure left. :p

EDIT: Then again, if you are without religion, and feel absolutely no conviction in keeping it, then do so. I personally would send it back, but I guess it all comes down to what YOU think.

I had a similar thing happen with a set of FF:TSW trading cards that I ordered through eBay once. The seller had shipped the item, but several weeks later it hadn't arrived. So I contacted the seller and let them know and they sent me another set for no cost. That set arrived a week later. However, the week after that, the original set finally arrived [must have got lost in the post or somethng].

Anyways, I did the right thing and told the seller. And the seller said because of my honesty I can keep the second set.

Yeah. I'll probably send it back. I was leaning towards keeping it but the things that Dino was saying about no god and no karma struck me as so self serving that I changed my mind.

Send it back. It'll make ya feel a helluva lot better than if you keep it.

Return the cards...you don't need two of the same thing, and it is the right thing to do.

Sending it back will give a sense of closure to the situation. Then again, that may not matter to you, but I'm a hell of a completionist.
