The mysterious Sea Rex
Does anybody know what happened to the Sea Rex it was originally in the Oddowrld.com site under the Universe section.
But it went suddenly and nothing was said about it. Does anybody have any information on this, even the tinyiest amount of info. If so please post it here.  |
nope, oddworld was going to put the rex in the game but they took it out and put it in the fmv. So they don't know much info about it!

the SeaRex look a cool animal, but pretty hard in Gameplay (Munch Swimminng in water with a Searex that would eat him) no, it's better in Fmv: relax

The Sea Rex was never originally going to be in the gameplay, as OWI knew it would be hard to do.
Anyway, Sea Rexes are huge sea-water beasts that just swim about eating everything smaller than it, e.g. Gabbits and Scoots. |

Yea, we will see the SeaRex in Munch's Oddysee but only in the FMV's and as for Scoots I have no idea what those are but they sound familiar.

I think the Sea rex lookes sort of like a whale in a way. I mean it is pretty large. yea I don't think its going to be in the game play. But it may be in the MO side movies. It would be kind of hard to creat something that big for game play but maybe it could be in the gameplay for Munch's Exodus? I don't know?

This is probably a stupid question, but what is an Fmv?

An FMV is basicly a Movie sequence during the game or before the game. An example is the intro movie in Munch's Oddysee and, well you get the point.
