Jamster stealing SFX from Stranger?
 

There is this company called Jamster! Ringtones, and I heard this one on a commercial. It seems they have something called "Drill Squirrel", I suppose referring to a drill sergeant. But it sounds like an uncanny rip off of the cluckers from Stranger. I understand that the person that does their voice could conceivably go do a voice over for them, but I'm just making sure they didn't just steal it from the game and are trying to make money off from it.

I have heard that commercial, and that voice sounded exactly like a Clakker to me as well. In all honesty, though, I think that any Southern-accented voice, increased in speed to sound squeaky, would sound like that. I doubt that whoever's behind those irritating commercials has played the game and intentionally copied the voice. Then again, you never know...
