Wonderful Bonus DVD of Oddworld for OSW reservations!
 

I still can't believe what the nice seller gave to me.

Four days ago, my friend wanted to make a "trip" to EB Games because of the newest Zelda game. I was searching for Stranger's Wrath (It will be available in a few days). As I found the casing of the game, a man came to me and said, "Would you like to book this game?".
Unhesitatingly, I prepayed it. Then, I gave my phone number away that he can call me if the game finally comes out.
Suddenly, he took a DVD casing out and placed it on the desk. First, it looked like Strangers Wrath itself, but the seller said it's a bonus DVD for reservations only.

On the DVD are all the short clips you can download on the official Oddworld website (Power-Ups To The People, commercial trailer of Munch's Oddysee in English and French, Vending Machine aaaaand mooooreee.....), a 30 minutes long preview of Oddworld Stranger's Wrath, how the beginning movie was made, Use Yur Imagination and all the movies of the last three games - Abes Oddysee, Exoddus and Munch's Oddysee and much more.
And all that compactly on a high quality DVD - and... the best thing is, it's for free.

For every German who read this, it's advisable to reserve Oddworld Stranger's Wrath, if you want to have this DVD too!

Thank you GrubHunter, it went through a lot of changes. My first attempts were so random, I was basically stuffing as many characters as I could onto the banner. I learned quickly that less is more, and I gave it some needed relevance. As I was making it, I figured out how to blend and cut out characters properly completely by accident. It turned out a lot better then I previously imagined... then again, it's pretty hard to make OWI's art look bad.

Oh. Damn, really really damn damn. It comes out over here tomorrow, and I haven't preordered it. Damn, damn damn. And it is closed. Damn, damn, damn, damn. That sucks. Anyways, happy happy joy joy, it is available in countries other than the US, at least there is that.

Why is it, Oddworld wise, I always get the ass end of the stick..? :fuzemb:

Don't worry about pre-ordering if you live in the PAL regions of the world. Just go to eBay and buy it - there are plenty of people selling them. Don't worry about the NTSC / PAL compatibility, my Bonus DVD is in NTSC and it works fine on my PAL Xbox.

However, I have been told that you need a TV that can handle NTSC as well. Though I'm not all that bright when it comes to this electronic stuff...

There is always that. Huzzah, it shall be done at some point. Though, I need to make even more cash in the mean time... :(

Tomorrow? The game comes out on Friday. If it's Thursday for you now, then it's right early in the morning, so I don't see why the shops would be shut. You might as well try to pre-order, as you can always cash out on eBay later.

I'm not sure about that. I mean if you have a region free DVD player it can play US DVDs on any TV, right?

Some stores allow you to pick things up at the store after ordering from the web. This might be considered a pre-order, but I'm not quite sure.
