Since I have played Strangers Wrath for the 3rd time I decided to play the original Abes adventures over again....but....I am having a darndest times saving....when I quicksave then die I start right at the the quicksave but when I shut down and want to start the next day none of my saves work....my dual shock controller should work playing a PS1 game?...Right?
Wrong?....when I try to load a previous saved game I can get to the right save but when I hit the X to load the save nothing happens....any help here please?

Are you just quicksaving or permanently saving the game?

press square and it loads the quicksave. the end.
