Date view
Is there a way to set the dates to be shown as dd/mm/yyyy instead of mm/dd/yyyy? I've looked through the options but I may have missed something.

It is alot easyer to read.

Silly American system, isn't it Nate?

Damned Cultural Imperialists!

It could. My first thought was to create a seperate Language for English (UK) and have the date setting different, but I'd prefer to waste less processing power. I have an idea, so let me stew on it.

And Don't forget center is centre in english.

Okay, I decided to create a seperate Language afterall. I figure I can translate the small differences later on, but for now, the date issue has been sorted out. To use the new Language, simply go to the:
User CP > Edit Options > Forum Language And then select 'English (UK)' from the drop down menu. Alcar... |
You should make a French one that changes 'the' into 'zee'. :p
That was pretty stupid. |
Cheers Alcar.
|
Cheers. I actually, truthfully appreciate this. :) You've done the most stupid, tiny little thing for a few whining Brits and Aussies. How long has it taken you to add it?
|
Well, I could have added it over a year ago when vBulletin 3 was first publicly released. But no one complained, so I didn't bother :p

If you do make any language changes, make sure 'mom' becomes 'mum'.
'Mom' is the most hideous, ugly word I have ever seen in my life. |
Is there anyway to make the dates the international standard ISO 8601? Today is 2005-02-14, which is infinitely more useful than 14/02/05.
