OXM - just count the mistakes!

(i don't think this contains spoilers)

oh my odd! - how many mistakes did they make in the Official UK Xbox Magazine review of MO?
1. on their questionnaire it asks if you will be buying 'Abe's Oddysee' for the Xbox
2. 'Munch is a Gabbit, a fish cruelly trapped by a Slig scientist who also implated a mind contol device into his head.' - is he a fish? - a Slig scientist, right... - who's mind does it contol?
3. 'A drink from a Zap Soda machine will revitalise a tired Munch.' - revitalise? i thought B-Betterz/SoBe revitalised health and Zap made a a red bolt of something come out of his port
4. 'Also, his implant can be turned against the game's evil Sligs and used to contol all manner of animate and inanimate objects, from cranes and robots to other [B]game characters[B] themselves.' - i thought only Abe could posess characters...

so, overall, MO (not AO!) got a good review - no real spoilers but i gives an example of Abe/Munch cooperative gameplay
the video was mainly that video with the farts and burps at the start and end but there was a little bit of new things though - just general stuff

Yeah, that does seem very remenisent of early previews of Munch's Oddysee. Then it was almost trvial to point these things out, except if you were an Oddworld Encyclopedia or recognised person 'in the know'.

An article this close to launch after so long (and official you say??) is bound to get critisism. Why not write to them and complain? I'm asuming they have a letters section, as I've never read the Official UK Xbox Magazine (in fact I haven't even seen it in Woolies). But that's my advice, anyway.

Or failing that, just laugh at them.

If you wanted to be really trivial you could say that only this magazine has used the term Zap Soda - it is usually Zap Sports Drink or Zap Cola, even Zap Lollies. But not Zap Soda.

i could write but i think their next issue is on UK launch - 14 March! - i might not even get it ever again - unless there's a big feature on MO!
