Stanger Owners, The Verdict?
 
What's the verdict Stranger owners, does it live up to the PlayStation legendary series of Oddworld games? Would be interested to hear your views as i don't intend to get the game unless they have some plan of putting it onto PC format.

It most definetly does. It the best Oddworld game (or at least most fun) so far.

I got an American version reformatted to UK for me today so it can crash a little for me ONLY. However other than that it's perfect. Much better than I expected

The game is incredible. I will be buying everything oddworld from now on. It's turned me from an occasional fan to a rabid one.

OWI can either be afraid or take heart from that. :D

I love it!

I'm an Oldschool kinda guy, so I prefer the originals, but wow, this game added a whole new level to Oddworld and the OWI Team did it perfectly.

I have never enjoyed playing a game more then OSW. I was suprised it actually beat my expectations. The first half is great, but the second half is epic. Unlike Halo 2 (which is an incredidible game), it was better then the hype. I'm definitely not saying its the best game ever made (it has flaws), I just had more fun with it then I did with supposedly more superior games.

It was much, much better than I thought it would be, although I still like the old school 2D Abe games more. I don't think OWI will be able to top those. Seriously, those were gaming nirvana.

Kudos to OSW for not sucking though. I'm really glad I bought it.

Stranger was one of the funniest coolest and funest games i've ever played it was as fun as Halo 2.

it's been a while since I played the playstation games... so I can't really compare.

what I CAN say is that Stranger's Wrath is one of the best games I have played in a long, long time. I enjoy it as much as I remember enjoying Abe's Exodus.

Oddworld has quite a reputation to live up to with it's style, and this game does not fall short. I was pretty dissapointed through the game's development, thinking that they abandoned their signature style. However, after playing the game, I can not express how wrong I was.. it just feels and looks like an oddworld game. It's fun, creative, and has gameplay unique only to this game itself. This was what I was afraid of, that OWI was going to follow the croud on this one. They didn't.


Characters are still just as lovable as any other Oddworld game.
