breeder's bag

does anyone know where the breeder's bag is located? i have played through the game twice and haven't found this item. the instruction book list this as being a item you can pick not purchase. thanks

You get it from one of the lizard guys automatically when you get the first armour upgrade I think. It tells you that you get it.
