You know (or don't know, whatever) that I'm from Belgium. So what, you might think. But I was wondering how many guys out of the USA allready have Stranger's Wrath. (Legal import off course!!!)

You played the USA version on what?
an american xbox, or a modded Xbox?

I like modded Xbox's!

Aren't they illegal?

Modding an Xbox in the sence of changing its apperance is perfectly fine - so if you want to spray it a new colour or add LED's etc then this is legal.

However if you try to bypass security via hardware or software in order to play illegal copied games or to modify the running of the xbox in any way then this is deemed illegal and probably can't be discussed here because of that company we so love, Microsoft :/

indeed, modded xbox, makes you play dvd's and games from another region (which is legal)

And let's you play copied dvd's/games (which is also legal IF you have the original, personal copy is allowed)

As long as people aren't discussing pirating Oddworld games, then you can continue. Oddipus has merely modded his Xbox to play other regions, and in buying Oddworld Stranger's Wrath, he did nothing illegal.
