I cant believe I just heard a grubb say this: "just cause we look like d*cks, doesn't mean you gotta yank us around!"

That does seem a little uncharacteristic, Tsioc. They've never had anything that offensive in an OW game before. And I think the word dick is quite a bit more offensive than the word bastard. Boo on OWI.

Nice to see OWI adding crude sexual jokes to their potty humor repertoire. It's a nice evolution, and it makes sense Odd-world style. Whatever they do they're going to make fun of, sex is no different.

And, truly, sex is one of the weirdest most rediculous things ever, anyway.

I don't think 'dick' is particularly offensive. Maybe in different countries words are evaluated differently. I'd prefer to be called a dick than a bastard.

But I think its pretty funny that OWI would take the piss out of their own characters like that. I suppose if you use your imagination they do look a little phallic.

I also thought it was rather entertaining, how the word sh*t is used excessivly in the game.

I was wondering if that's what they said. I couldn't really tell because of all the other noises. I thought I heard it and I was thinking 'wow! Did I hear what I thought I heard?' :D

Sligster I heard that in a preview vid and it sounded like he said "shi-" before being cut off. Am I accurate?

:laugh: YES! It was about 12:00 one night...well...morning :fuzconf: when I first heard that infamous "yanking" line. It was right before I saved and was about to go to bed. So, all I would here in my dreams all night was "Just cos we look like dicks doesn't mean you gotta yank us around" and I found myself saying it over and over during the day in school and laughing to myself and one time a teacher heard me and after class was all like "What was that you said?" and I just said "Famous saying" and quickly walked out. :fuzsmile: :fuzsmile: :fuzsmile: :fuzsmile: :fuzsmile:

But yea, they use 'shit' a lot in OSW. "There ain't shit for me here," "Ya little shit," and various others I found in the game are absolutley hysterical. :D

That is the best line in a game ever! I love how the creatures look so cute and innocent, but actually swear like sailors. This stuff could be heard in any pg-13 movie, so its nothing exsessive for a teen rated game.

The Outlaw at the Water fortress place that we originally saw on Eurogamer; I thought he made a prison rape joke concerning Boilz Booty when he came out of his tower/building thing.

D. Caste Raider is one of the first eight Outlaws we learnt about. He was on an Outlaw Wanted card handed out in packs at GDC 2004.

then I thought on it, and realized that when said quickly, his name sounds like "The Castrator".

Talk to the grubbs in the native village before heading off to Wolvark Docks. They say sh*t quite a bit there. It's pretty hillarious...especially for what they're talking about.
