stuck: Sekto
 

Ok, I finally made it here, now I am fighting the man himself... only, I have no clue what to do.

Well then, I'd like to know what to do, because I'm stuck on this level too.

well... for those who are completely stuck... destroy the two generators.

I used super stingbees and riot slugs (I was all out of boombats)

Pretty much what has already been said...
Shoot generators
If you hear him powering up, run&hide
Repeat

A bit anti-climatic, and not all that unique in execution, but hey, at least it's Oddworld...

Sekto is actually the easiest part of the game. Just hide and shoot. It'll be over in no time.

seriously... you don't even have to hide. Just shoot one generator while standing behind the rock with Slugs and Bees, then do the same for the other generator.

BAM!

I would have prefered if it ended with the run through the dam (where you have the time limit), but after Secto's machine explodes. It may be cliche, but those types of endings are really intense.

BTW, considering the two octigi were part of the final battle, it is actually pretty damn tough.

The Octigi are tough, granted. But they are not the final battle. You start fighting Sekto with full health after an ingame cutscene. He is the final battle and he is very easy.

For me, the game pretty much ended after the "HOLY CRAP RUN LIKE A BITCH" time-limit thing. That was fun as hell.

The Gloctiki were tough, but I still beat 'em on my first try.

I mean, it's just not a "final" encounter if you don't have to play it more than five times over without dying, which was what the "three minute" level was for me.

And yeah, it would have been cool to do that after Sekto, but then again, Stranger wouldn't get to lift Sekto's corpse up in victory if that were the case, now would he? :p

I'm stuck in that dang 3 min level lol...its so hard!! but it is a blast ^_^

okay, HELP ME!!!!!! I'm stuck in the final battle with Sekto! the one that is so-called easy lol YAHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

everytime i tried that he would destroy the rock.

Multiple rocks fall down. An easy way to do the level is fire whatever destructive ammo you have at either one of the two generators while sekto isn't shooting. Once he starts, or right before he starts, run over to where another rock has fallen. They show up on your radar. He'll blow up the rock, you'll shoot, he'll shoot, you'll hide. Repeat.

Time attacks so that big blue/purple beam doesn't hit you...

how many times do you have to hit the generators?

Plenty. Just hit 'em till the top explodes. I imagine its different for the different ammo types. Just throw everything you've got at them.

Yea you pretty much gotta blast 'em until everything on em explodes. I think it's a total of 4 or 5 explosions (per generator) till it's done.

Well tried that, no joy. I got off maybe three Boombats and had to struggle twice out of webbing. What I find really frustrating is that the bookshelves will catch me and it takes multiple turns to get away from them. Bad programing. I was finally able to kill one but it took running in the back, next to the desk, five times and then hold in one corner while they got their barrings and then I slipped behind a bookshelf fired off a couple of rounds and ran to the frout and accrossed to the other side. Hang for a second and they start coming then I beat it for one of the back corners again. Hiding behind the boxes does no good at all they come right on through.
