What do you think might happen in the good ending and the bad ending of Stranger?

That is what I think may be of the bad ending, or he dies of his desease.

There's going to be a bad ending aswell?

I don't know if there will still be a Good/bad end system
but the way you interact with the NPC will affect the rest of the game I heard, so there may be something like that.

anyway I don't think that screen is from the bad ending, it would be too much the same as MO.

I hope we hear Stranger's real name.

Something like.. :p

Stranger: "You wanna my name, you? wanna know my name, my name,name? Well my name, which is my name, is, my name. My name is..... "
*tv turns off/then on*

I'm beggining to have doubts about if I want to know Stranger's real name or not...
giving away his name would take away a lot of the mistery around the character.

I agree with Xav about that picture. For one thing Stranger has darker skin and hair than that poor decapitated Steef. My guess is that the picture is from when we first see the bad guy Mr Chuckles* and it shows us how evil he is.

Knowing OWI, its quite likely that there will be multiple endings but its really too early to speculate what they will be given that we know very little about the plot.

Yep, I don't think that steef is Stranger. There are more than one steef in Oddworld ;)
I also personally think there will be only one ending to this game. Judging by the fact of a lack of mention of any quarma or multiple endings in the review and previews, and by the fac there appears to definately be a 'final boss' battle at the end of the game.

I'm sure there will be good and bad endings, wasn't it said that beating up townsfolk would have 'servere repucusions later on in the game'?

Sorry, couldn't resist :p Anyway, I doubt we will learn his name, it'd be sorta...I dunno...wierd for me, knowing his name. Like Xav said, it would take from his mysteriousnes (is that even a word?)

I think that was just that in the next town you go to the townfolk are not going to be very helpful and possibly even agressive.

Maybe you need their help right at the end (like abe needed the muds at the end of AO) and thats how the bad ending will work.

My idea involves how much money you make before the end of the game. If you make the set amount or above when the game ends, you win the good quarma. If you're under the required amount by the time the game ends, you're done.

I just think messing with the townsfolk is meant for fun. Stranger doesn't seem like the nice type from what I've seen, so I don't think being nice to the townsfolk has anything to do with quarma.

Stranger is saving up for an operation (or something medical at least). I was under the impression that that would be involved in the giant twist after which the gameplay will be different. Which happens in the middle of the game, not right at the end.

yup NDW you are right, the change of gameplay will be in the middle of the game...
as for the end, well I don't realy think we know enough

He has a desease he needs to pay for.

A life threatening disease that needs to be treated by an operation.

I doubt they will ever release his name. The character is based off of the man with no name from the Spaghetti Westerns and you never learn his name. Although in the third one they do call him blondy.

I know that the Bad Ending I mentioned before is not a bad ending, read The Infomous Mr. Sekto and see why.

AO endings was the best, but I also like the AE ending.

I like the endings to both of those games too, but I agree with Oddish-AO endings were better than AE endings. I loved MO endings too. The good ending just feels like it came straight from a movie and the bad ending actually makes me laugh a bit! :D

I disagree. Though the AO endings were good, the AE good ending was (in my opinion) much better. It makes you feel all inspired about the mudukon cause and that bit with all the muds holding their hands to the moon gets to me every time.

Yeah, that's also true. The good ending for AE does make you feel inspired, but the good ending in AO is where all of the mudokons realize that Abe is their hero and they finally have someone to look to for salvation. ;)

AE has the best ending movie yet... can't wait to compare with SW's. :p

I don't think I've seen an ending I didn't like. The MO ending was visually stunning, and the subtle character traits during the last conversation between Abe & Munch were great. You just know they're gonna out do themselves with Stranger's Wrath, since even the regular cutscenes look awesome.

My Dad watched the Munch Bad Ending and he says it's the worst and most gruesom of the lot, my Mum thinks it's so awful because of the Fuzzles with saws in it, she refused to watch it, but I said she was going to watch the good ending and erm...

Dibs on betting that picture of the hench Stranger is at Mr Sekto house, and Stranger finds out he wasted the rest of his race.

Oh, and the disease makes Stranger turn into ugly up there.
