TheRaisin 12-28-2004 05:25 PM

Yeah, I hate school too!

Uhh no.

But I sure as hell hate school!

I sympathize. I've known quite a few people in your situation. It doesn't apply to me, but I think the idea of it sucks.

Disgruntled Intern 12-28-2004 06:04 PM

Kick your Mum in the ovaries.

mawk 12-29-2004 05:55 AM

Kick your Mum in the ovaries.

Yeah, what the hell is that schizolocational bitch thinking moving you around like that?

AquaticAmbi 12-29-2004 06:32 AM

Mmnope, I've lived in the same little place my entire life. And call me a nerd, but I enjoy school. Sure, there's certain classes I loathe, but overall, it's not so bad. I do wish I was graduating this year, though.

Nath 12-29-2004 07:55 AM

I hated school, I hated college, I hated being in education. If there's something that I need to learn, I just do it myself, it might be a little bit harder but I'll prefer to do it like that. For instance, I want to learn Welsh, which is my country's language, so I just buy a load of books and audio cd's to help me, yeah they were teaching it in school, but I just couldn't be arsed to listen.

But hating education doesn't mean I've turned out not doing anything, I've actually got a good job that pays well.

Oddish 12-29-2004 08:41 AM

Well I used to travel alot, and moving schools. Untill I stayed in one school, I was just pissed, becuase it's the same thing bieng a new guy everytime I moved. Lot's poeple I don't know, and happens over, over and over agian. It's so anyoning.

Staying in one school, and I like, atleast you can do things, than to stay at home doing nothing. And I can meet my mates.

big face 12-29-2004 02:52 PM

yeah...its pretty frustrating.but i know some people where im going so it'll be ok.this is my 6th school...

Oddish 12-29-2004 02:54 PM

The school I'm going to is my 50th.

Necrum Miner 12-29-2004 03:02 PM

I don't hate school... Yeah, it's alright saying you can learn something yourself when you want, but without school you never know that alot what you want to learn actually exists.

Esus 12-29-2004 03:07 PM

I hate school at the moment because its always very extremist. It's either tons and tons of work or absolutely no work at all, which is crap. Just, crap!
This is my second school I've ever been to, and the transition was with everybody from my old school, so it wasn't much different.

SeaRex 12-29-2004 04:20 PM

I love school.

My last semester in high school is going to rock. Humanities (art/literature history), two periods of Graphic Design (taken' pictures of stuff 'n printin' em), one period of regular art, and... physical education.

Well, the last one is required. Like I would take PE by choice.

The point is my life is so much better than all you wankers that don't like school. The end.

AquaticAmbi 12-29-2004 04:28 PM

Oh yeah, my second semester is going to be great too. Biology 2 AP! Whee! My first AP class, though... kind of intimidating, but it's science and I'm a nerd, so yay! And pre-calc is over, thank God.

Oddly Insane 12-29-2004 06:05 PM

I my school there is this "Nerd Squad" thankfully I'm not in it

Disgruntled Intern 12-29-2004 07:12 PM

My senior year of high school was great.

I only had five periods a day, and they were:

1: Art Studio [Strictly painting. Advanced class. We made our own assignments and due dates.]

2: Teachers Aid [for my art teacher Jamie, of course. He was awesome.]

3: Web Design

4: Civics/Economics

5: Jamie's T.A. again.

TheRaisin 12-29-2004 10:09 PM

Bloody hell. I need to get on the ball here. The way I see it, second chances end in after middle school. In high school, it's pass or fail, turn it in on time or lose credit, do everything to the letter or retake the class in the summer or at night. I do not do well under pressure. Pressure agitates me to an extreme degree.

So the point is you all sound like you're having a swell old time at the jolly old H.S. and I'm getting the shitstick! Gah, you vonny grahzny bratchnies! Well it's not like I don't bring it upon my own self. That just makes it even worse. My anger is unjust because I maketh things to happen or not happen. That sucks.

I shall make a pact with myself. I will do well this year and the next and if things haven't improved by junior year I will be most incredibly pissed off. If they get better, though, I will accept the fact that sometimes I bring the shitstick down upon myself and the next time I get the shitstick I'll say "Well, self, that's what you get!" and work harder and better myself. Sound good? Yeah, sure does! Okay then, let's do it!

I still hate school though.

Facsimile 12-30-2004 12:23 AM

I don't mind school, it's a good chance to catch up with my friends. The only thing I don't like about school is
Having to take science in 2004. Okay, this was our first year of exams, we only have three of them, and these exams matter for things like getting a job. And we get FORCED to take science even if we don't give a flying **** about it. Even if we know there's no possible chance it will have anything to do with our career path. Even if we slack off all year and don't pass then end of year exams (like me). WHAT A ****ING WASTE OF TIME!

The other reason I don't like school is it starts to early. I don't care if it went later into the afternoon, I just hate getting up at 7:30.

Alcar 12-30-2004 12:57 AM

This is the third School I've been at to date, but those transitions were neccessary, but could have been avoided (though why would I :p). I lost a lot of friends during the last transition, in fact, going into the School I am at now, I knew only three people, one of them who I'm not exactly "friendly" with (read: *STAB* *STAB* *STAB*). And those two people weren't even close friends.

But! I happen to like School. I've made new friends, and if I could, I'd stay longer. I love School too much. I just think it is such a great environment, and I bet most of you when you are older will look back and wish you were back at School. I know I will.

Alcar...

Oddly Insane 12-30-2004 08:14 AM

I HATE school right now this kid is getting in trouble for jacking stuff from teachers and we're getting in trouble for it because we knew about it and we didn't tell the teacher. That made her cry :crying:

Rex Tirano 12-30-2004 08:19 AM

I actually really like school, mainly because of the people there. In all my classes I'm with at least 5 of my friends. I have about an hour and a half for dinner and break, so I can just hang out with my friends and I love it. Because I live quite a while away from my friends (I'm in the middle of the countryside) I love school because it's the only time I can really see all my friends in one place.

'Cos of my GCSEs I'm taking the subjects I want to take, and I still get an hour of P.E. ^_^ I've got:

French, I.T., English, Maths, Science, Graphic design, Drama, History and P.E.

Rich 12-30-2004 02:42 PM

I like most of School. It's a cool time to see friends that live outside of the city.
Hopefully when I finish 6th form I can go to Art School and become an artist.
Then I can live the dream, living off peanuts, shopping at charity shops and playing an old acoustic guitar that is missing several strings.

Oh yeah, and doing art type stuff in between.

WiLL the Wander 12-30-2004 02:54 PM

I hate school. Boring lessons. Stupid teachers. Idiot classmates. And I very miss my old friends.

Exactly. Which proves the point that education is for the mediocre.

Oh yeah, my second semester is going to be great too. Biology 2 AP! Whee! My first AP class, though... kind of intimidating, but it's science and I'm a nerd, so yay! And pre-calc is over, thank God.

I was considering taking AP Biology my Senior year, until I realized I could more productively use the elective slot. And in addition, since I took Geometry in 8th grade, I only have to take one more math class either my Junior/Senior year.

With my newfound schedule openings, I'm thinking of joining jazz band for my last two years in high school. That's the main thing I like about school- band. Why sit around being a silly guitar player when I could be jamming out on euphonium, eh? Anyways, I attend a good school, thankfully, and have nice teachers and the like. I'm also in a special program at school that corresponds with business classes. Not sure if it actually teaches me anything, but it looks damn nice on applications. In addition to good academics, I'm also situated socially, and my only true complaint about school is that it starts at 7:30 in the morning.

A recent revelation has come to me, that if I actually sit down and do my homework without complaint, it isn't near as bad, not to mention a good excuse to listen to music. Hell, it'll even transform some of the worthless time I spend sleezing in front of the TV or computer into some decent mental stimulation. A little voice in my head tells me that solving quadratics will help me out later in life, more so than trying to find new treasures in Morrowind, or slaughtering Covenant in Halo.

Deleted, because SeaRex was going to castrate me.

Owned. Haha.

Alright, let me set one thing straight right now: nothing, but nothing, in the whole, wide world of the internet pisses me off more than the "owned" remarks. Two-word "owned" posts aren't posts; they're eyesores. Furthermore, I f*cking hate it when people use that word over the smallest thing.

For example, mawk was not "owned." Big just likes different guitars (apparently).

In summary, LET IT BE KNOWN FROM THIS DAY FORWARD THAT "OWNED" POSTS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. Seriously. I don't know how the Daves feel about them, but every single "owned" post after this will be deleted. By me. Personally.

Languor 01-03-2005 07:18 PM
