I do, Elums are oddworlds mules right? So there must be a oddworld Horse and Donkey that give birth to the elum. Maybe the animals are called esrohs and yeknods! hehe.

My guess is that nearly all creatures in oddworld are egg laying sonsofguns. So if that were so, why didn't those damn glukk freaks make scrambled eggs??? |

What do you mean by "Elums are oddworlds mules right?" They are not oddworlds mule, its just because mule backwards is elum, Elum's and mules are totaly different. ELums dont have hair elums dont eat hay elums dont carry stuff (meetles do) elums dont walk on 4 legs mules dont have horns "So there must be a oddworld Horse and Donkey that give birth to the elum" Now this is the most stupidest thing ever. Hi, folks!
I think Dakkan just wanted to play with words when he made the joke about mules, horses and donkeys, since Elum is Mule backwards(everybody knows that). As another Oddworld creatures(Scrabs=crabs, paramites=parasites), the OWI designers(Farzad, mostly)used a Mule concept to create the Elum. It doesn't mean that Elum is a Mule, at all!! Both creatures have similarities, and the most evident is that both are "beasts of burden". Now, let me tell you a bit about Mules. As Dakkan knows, MULES are sterile hibride animals that result from a crossbreed between a HORSE and a DONKEY. Horses and donkeys are equines from different species, and although they can reproduce among each other, their offsprings(babies, for the german girls that have problem translating difficult words) are sterile, they can't have babies. These offsprings are called MULES so, the JOKE was: if there is an Elum (mule backwards), there is also a Esroh (horse backwards) and a Yeknod (donkey backwards) that togheter give birth to a Elum (again, mule backwards). It was a joke, just a joke. A clever one, I'd say... |
Yeah, it would be dumb if he did came from a mule beacuase it would think that they really did'nt make up the characters. Just imitations of Earthly thingies.

Well like I said, phew, Elum sure smells like a mule, phew.

Or...we could all take a big step back. Look at everything being said and say "Why the hell are we argueing!?" and then someone who is SANE can say "Because we think Oddworld creatures are real" and then we can all laugh and crack some more odd jokes as the men in white trot along, put us in a nice white restraning jacket also known as a straight-jacket and take us to our rooms with cusions on the wall. Yay.
