Yes, that code will forever haunt my dreams. I'm in the Slig Barracks, on a screen that's killing me. First, there's four steps of shadow. Just above the last two is a tank thing, that I have to duck to get under. And there's a slig on the other side of that, that rhythmiclly moves between this screen and the next. It doesn't go to the other screen for very long though. There's a lever, just under a platform above. The platform leads onto the next screen, and has electricity on the first step. I can't even hang from it without frying, unless I pull the lever which turns the electricity off. Now, my problem is this: The Slig never stays on the other screen long enough for me to roll under the tank, pull the lever, and jump up onto the platform. Just after the lever is pulled, he's always back, and blows my brains to english cheese. The reference code is BAP01C05. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? |
Can you run or roll straight towards the slig after pulling the lever?

I probably could. But the thing is, most of the time he'll shoot me as soon as he sees me. Sometimes I'm lucky enough to get to the next screen, but I get shot anyway. And if ever I was even luckier, to escape his gunfire, by what I see of the next screen I'll either fall and die anyway, or land on another platform. Which has, wait for it - Another slig. I don't remember exactly though, I'll check back.

Why not do the frickin' obvios thing . Possess him make him the shoot the slig and depossess him . Two dead for the price of one

All you have to do is to wait till the slig goes to the next screen, then run to the lever, pull it on, and jump to the higher floor. About the next screen, ummmm... uhhhhhhh........... :fuzconf: Well, try to finish it yourself, and if you won't make it, there is a little thingie named "Oddworld Forums".:D P.S: And, Cyber-slig, there are security orbs in these screens. |
He just said he couldn't do that...
Can't you just go to the platform first, and wait 'till the Slig returns, and goes away again, before pulling the lever? |

I tried that. Hundreds of times. Some nights I was up 'till about three in the morning, trying to do that very thing. And failed. Now, you tell me to do it, and I get it right first time. Wow. Thanks for, ehm... Well, I've no idea what you did. But thanks anyway. |
Can't find another way, you should practice, you know, I also failed hundreds of times in this part, but I finally made it, why wont you try?!
