I want someone with articulate (sp?) skills to make me a banner. I WOULD go on the earlier ones, but I'd probably get spanked by Alcar for bringing back old topics.

'Reptile' in cool, blue writing. The banner should be white with Stranger in the background. In small writing in the bottom right hand corner it should say 'Yay'

Making me a banner will result in you getting a Marilyn Manson CD.

Lol, topics like banner threads can be brought back up :p There are those exceptions to the rules, simply because it would be stupid to adhere to them in such a case.

Hum...I could do that with time provided, but I will do it for free (it is my passion). I know what your thinking This guy has bearly posted anything even though he has been here since 2003, I ain't going to trust this guy. Well I am one of the unoffical Oddworld magizine writers along with other forum members in my neighborhood (Odd Trusting, Pinkgurllover, Mudokon Native) and I have been doing custom pics since I was a Oddworld fan which was in 1996 before AO. I haven't used my account because it is hard to keep up with forums but know that we got 2 more scrubs working for the unoffical Oddworld magizine (who arn't forum members yet but are being held at gun point until they register) I can have some time to be part of the forums. I got a website that will be up in a couple of days. One last question should the banner be digital (like using images off google or where everelse) or hand drawn or painted or stenciled style stuff. Cause the digital I could get to you say today or tommorow if you respond. Have a good time

Sweet mawk, well you saved me from extra work so I beleave a thanks are in order, how did you have it white every 3 lines though

The lines are what's called a gauze. It's the old fashioned way to put an image into the background, reduce its potency in a picture, and blend it in to the background colour without covering it up completely.

The lines are actually 1 pixel apart. It's what's known as a 1 pixel horizontal gauze. The opposite being a 1 pixel vertical gauze. Some graphics editors have this function, others do not. But most good ones do.

Save it to your computer, get an account at www.photobucket.com, upload the picture to your photobucket account, and copy the IMG script into your signature.

or imageshare thats another good one. You know us of good picture creating abilities should start are on thread and all make sigs and profile pictures for people and stuff, the only difference is it would use our collective genious rather than each individuals

It could be. Maybe when we get a set of requests we could split them between everyone involved. So everyone gets their fair share of things to do.

I'm suprised you chose to use the sig I made Rep, it's pretty darn basic. I was going to do a more complex one and just use the one I posted here as an example :D Oh well, if you like it then I suppose that's all that matters.

My version was gonna be more complex too but I thought if he wants a white background, that's what he'll get :D.

I do have a design group that I own (I used to be a lower rank in the group until the previous owner got bored of the endless signature requests and ended up giving it to me.), except the whole group is made up of me. And we/I have no site of any kind. Mainly because of hosting problems. If you, Shadowman, or anyone can help me find a free hosting site, with good bandwidth and high storage. We can get this off to a better start.

Also, I have to go out and buy Dreamweaver, so if anyone knows any shops or websites that I can buy it from. I'd be grateful.

Well my Oddworld website is in the process of being put up by a very generous hoster, I will recommend you to him and see what I can do, it the mean time we could make a makeshift thread on sig making,
As for Dreamweaver I will check into it see what I can find

I've just checked the price for Dreamweaver on the Macromedia website and there's no way in hell I'm gonna be able to afford that. Does anyone know of any other programs like Dreamweaver that are either free or below £100?
