Great find Xav!
Yeah, I have those images in a mag somewhere. |
(Screen 2)
Hmmm...is it just me, or does it look like you can use powerlines to your advantage with the Zappfly/Surgebug? Possibly being able to make an extremely powerful charge? -oddguy |
those are *sniff* beautiful

(graphics r amazing) |
Yeah, but you can use charged up zapflies to control electrical equipment.
|
Hmmm, some of those images are without the radar, or health bar. Either it is because they are in "friendly" territory, or you can choose to disable them, of which I hope the latter is an actual option.
Good find, none the less, and I agree, the preview was crap. Alcar... |
Well, we know the health bar only pops up when you get hurt. I imagine the radar will only pop up when you need it. As for disabling them, it'd be hard to play if you don't know what your health level is or where enemies are.

Possibly if there's nothing for the radar to show (ie there are no enemies around) it disappears. It would look fairly silly to have this blank circle on the bottom of the screen.
Note that the video of Stranger running around in the river has no radar showing. |
i like the water in picture one:p
looks like the grunt is already fallen in:p |

Erm... it was mentioned in an interview (or a video - probably the Eurogamer one), that the radar and health bar disappear when they are not needed.
It's amazing the things people forget about a game as it goes through development, which is why I normally hate visiting a forum during a games development :p |
I think the code on the screen only appears when they do a cheat. I wonder if they'll keep the cheats in the final version, or if they're just using them for testing purposes.
|
Oh, goodie! The radar and health bar aren't permanent. I think they really ruin an environment, in that I can't see everything on screen. Kind of like those hideous gaming website logos we get on images, they ruin it!
Anyway, I'm more looking forward to the Instruction Manual. Whenever I buy I game, I always look at the instruction manual first. Not because I need help, but I find them so beautifully designed. Yes, that was a random comment. Alcar... |
Hmmm...it's great that the health and radar bars aren't permanent. It's so annoying when something so hideous is blocking the screen and you can't see all of the beautiful designs and environments of the game. And Alcar, you aren't the only one that looks in instruction manuals, for I look at them for the exact same reasons! I like the designs and artwork in them too and I find them all so appealing! :)
