Who is this monster!

Have you guys checked out these neat drawings from Stranger's Wrath? Its most likely in the art book but I especially like this one. Check out the monster in the background. Who is that?!

If thats what we are faceing later on in the game wow! It could be and hear me out the Outlaw queen maybe? what do u think?

He's part of the Glukkon race. (Or, he could be my dad in a strop!)

Dipstikk 12-14-2004 08:47 AM

Doesn't look very Glukkonish to me...
Maybe it's a new creature.That's my guess...

T-nex 12-14-2004 08:50 AM

I don't know what it is... But i do know that that is the the most oddworldish creature i've ever seen from Strabger's wrath.

Wil 12-14-2004 09:04 AM

Part of Glukkon race? I dunno. The closest thing to Glukkons in Stranger's Wrath are Gloktigi, according to Alf (the screenshot we've seen looks more like the Octigi 0.1).

This guy definitely appears to be along the same lines as the other Outlaw types, with two toes on each foot, two large protruding front bottom teeth, and a spiny/spikey nape. The other four types there compare to models we've already seen: the dumpy ones with no real fangs (Mortimar Bang, Pack Rat Palooka, Snapps Manic, Cleever McMince), the ones with tall hats and two wide-apart fangs (Measly McGraw, Filthy Hands Floyd, Scuz), the ones with tall heads (Blisterz and Boilz Booty, Flint McGee) and the ones with horns (Elboze Freely, Tiny McGraw, Nilsworth O'Shafster, Jo' Mamma). Maybe this whopping new form will appear in the game. I quite hope so. I don't think it's the Queen, these people seem to be a two-gendered species, especially with Meagly having a son.

Strangely, the ones with large ears (D. Caste Raider, the Looten Duke, Fatty McBoomBoom) aren't on that drawing.

Who is this monster!
Who?

That monster would be Bobby G. Monster. He lives down my street, I know him on a personal level.

As for the Gluk reference they look completely different. They are most probably a new species as was stated earlier.

Biggy Bro Slig 12-14-2004 09:25 AM

Gloktigi! That could be the answer MTM.

Xavier 12-14-2004 09:59 AM

they don't look like outlaws, perhaps they are a group/clans of ermits that lives in the nature or in old houses...
they look like hobos...

Fez 12-14-2004 11:02 AM

I like the look of that soldier guy on the far left.

Nate 12-14-2004 12:17 PM

I suspect that he's some sort of dumb warrior. He's got a very small, unintelligent looking face with a huge mouth.

Fatty McBoomBoom

Who is that? I must've missed something.

Xavier 12-15-2004 08:28 AM

it's an outlaw boss... I can't remember where it's from, but it's official...
I think it's from GameSpot

http://image.com.com/gamespot/images..._screen031.jpgHere are all the Outlaws, even an extra Bisterz Booty

By placing a character's eyes closer together, a designer can create an unintelligent, simple look, and large, aggressive Oddworld characters do tend to lack intelligence (BigBro Sligs, more-than-likely the Outlaws).

I'm remaining of the opinion it's an Outlaw species. I sure hope it's in the game, it's captured my imagination.

EDIT: The extra Blisterz Booty annoys me, just a little bit. They could easily have slotted Tiny McGraw in there.

Possibly they only wanted to put in the outlaws and not any minions. Which would explain why the 'monster' is not on that pic.

Sheriff-Murder 12-15-2004 12:42 PM

funny, hehe

Wil 12-15-2004 12:50 PM

But the Minion Shooter is in there.

Oddish 12-15-2004 12:58 PM

They could of put that robotic guy from the wanted poster.

Scrab Watcher 12-15-2004 12:58 PM

Very good Oddish! I'm way behind on the whole outlaw situation. I found this very helpful.

In the picture posted by PA, who's the guy with the chain in his throat?

Wil 12-15-2004 01:06 PM

Unknown. Nilsworth O'Shafster, Tiny McGraw, Elboze Freely and Jo' Mamma are quite like it, though, with their horns. It could just be a generic design, much as the others appear to be.
