As Alf so very clearly stated: Dear Alf
O.K. Listen up, the answer to most of your questions is this: Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee is an exclusive title for the Xbox. Exclusive means ONLY on the Xbox. Not another console, only the Xbox. OK?. Get it? Got it? Good! - Alf

Start facing the music, and Munch is just the tip of the ice berg, wait till you see next years games, I have and wow, is the best way to explain them. Anyways, even if it did come to PC next year,........ that's next year.By then a whole new generation of games will be hitting. Well It's Munch and me with 5.1 Dolby surround sound on a big fat extra large HDTV this November 15th. The XBOX will already be paying dividends, go figure.
;)

that was removed long time ago, a few months

----sorry for not being "on top" of things here.. I am shameful and I bow to you for being so talented......

I know what exclusive means, but I'm not going to be satisfied until they say "NOT FOR PC."
I mean, what really is an XBOX?

A damn PC with a new case!
To convert an XBOX game to PC format would be a breeze in comparison to converting for PS2 or whatever.....
And plus--XBOX is microsoft, and what is microsoft most known for?

I could BUILD an XBOX easily... All you need is the right specs...
And it reads on a DVD-ROM... so damn..
NOTHING IS CLEARED UP! but thanks for trying.

I'm not sure if all you oddworld fans who won't be getting Xbox will get a PC port. They would have to have a really good video card, and the memory requirment would probably be horendus. But I did hear a PC-Xbox emulator was coming out, but I'm not sure if its coming out any time soon.

moodokon man 10-18-2001 11:43 AM

An answer to abe333 Q is that they were makeing M.O for Ps2 and halfway through they changed to xbox

The demo I think is out because I seen posters and everything at the video game store in the mall the other day.

I don't think a PC version is impossible. The PC is never really considered a "console" because it usually caters to a different demographic than actual consoles. So, when Alf says that MO will be an exclusive to the X-box, I don't think this includes the PC. I am betting (hoping) that a PC version will be released a few months after the Xbox version, probably ported by a third party company, like AO and AE were.

And about the Xbox emulator thingie, the Geforce 3 is essentially the exact same card that is in the Xbox, so a PC port would not be totally crazy. There are some people who could run the game, I'd buy a geforce 3 if I had to.
