Terribly Newbish Question: Image in Sig

Sorry to ask such a terribly newbish question, but I don't really know where to find the directions, so. . . how do I insert an image from my computer into my signature? I'm terrible with computers.

Simply go to the "reply to message" screen (which you are taken to everytime you want to reply). A tad under the large message box is a seperate section of other options. In there is an attachments field. Simply click on the "manage attachments" button and upload :)

For more detail, you can check the Oddworld Forums FAQ section on attachments: http://www.oddworldforums.net/faq.ph...chment_explain

I thought it was against the rules to host signatures as attachments on the Forums, Alcar.

Having said that, if you attach an image to the Forums, someone can add it to their server and you can put [img] tags in your signature.

Oh crap. I thought they'd meant how to attach an image to a post!

In that case, you'd have to get an external host, something like: http://www.photobucket.com and then use those [IMG] tags Max spoke of.

Ahh, I see. That is unfortunate. Oh well. Thank you.

Photobucket is free, and simple enough. Just use that. Actually, it's quite useful, and an easy way to upload all of your other pictures in an organized manner.

Photodump is good, formally known as 'Imagebucket'

*points above* But it puts their crappy logo on your image.

I'd go with Photobucket ... it doesn't add any crappy logos or ads onto your image.
